She’s also in SB mode not FTL mode…I mean for god sakes do we need to go back and show Ruby during the curse? If what Belle was wearing is for a prostitute then what about Ruby?

I have a feeling that even if Tamara is a wonderful person – the perfect girlfriend who is sweet and witty and charming and understanding, with a compelling backstory – it doesn’t matter. She’s against Emma. In fact, the more perfect she is, the more the audience will likely sympathize with Emma. If Tamara is flawed – pushy, and interfering with Henry like some people guessed – the audience will still sympathize with Emma. Has anyone seen the new sneak peek? Well, it looks like even Rumple will be on Emma's side if it ever came to a love triangle. So would Snow and Charming. So would the dwarves and Belle and Red and Granny, probably.
Basically, Tamara is a someone who is preventing the main protagonist of the show from getting what they want. That’s just….I don’t see how this could end happily for all those involved. It’ll cause pain for Emma (basically Neal will break her heart a second time), and…I just don’t like it. There are so many ways, like you guys mentioned, that SwanFire could have conflict that do not involve a love triangle.
Also…from the spoiler photos some ppl have speculated that Neal and Tamara met shortly before curse-break, when Augst was on his way to SB. If that's true, then I admit this makes me feel a little resentment towards Neal. Couldn't he have waited? It was so close to her 28th birthday, and he knew she would be free. And to get engaged in that time…doesn't scream “true love” ala SnowxCharming to me. If it must happen, I guess I'm interested to see how it happened.
Here’s the thing, the way it was left, August made everything very vague. I have a feeling he didn’t tell Neal the entire story and made it very open ended because in Neal’s mind, it was going to happen soon then he’d have his girl back. But it didn’t…and years later maybe he lost hope or thought it broke and August lied to him. …plus we don’t know if August will make up some other lie to him to keep him from freaking out and running to find Emma…
But guys………what if………what if Neal secretly went to Tallahassee when she was there and watched her from afar ;_; so random but feelings ughhh
Agreed with all of you really, we don’t need a love triangle. Seeing from the last sneak peek, Emma’s guard is still far up around him. No matter what he says she just can’t trust him….think about it 10 years of believing one thing and then that person comes and says “Heyyy I did it because i knew you were Snow White and Prince Charming’s kid so Iw anted you to get back to them” I’m so sure you’d just jump in their arms….especially Emma and I think soon enough he’s gonna really figure out how she is now. I think at first he’s just like they said in the podcast, okay she closed that door on me so I’m giving up but I don’t think he gets just how damaged she is. For 27 years of her life, he was that one glimmer of hope she had where she opened herself.
I go back to this interview the captain swan shippers are pushing around where JMo says something about a glimpse of hope….but she says glimpse with him and Graham and I think tha’ts just signs of where she’s ready to give trust but she’s scared….I still say she needs to get it back from Neal before she can fully get it again.
Am I wrong in saying there had previously been a rumor that there will be someone far more evil than Cora, Regina, and Hook? Maybe going back to the Blue Fairy? T he one to take Cora’s place as the “Boss” or big bad they need to fight? Though it will be sad if Cora’s just gone…
Am I one of the few who doesn’t want to despise her? I mean it’s just too cliche. It reminds me of Glee and how Jesse St. James was ONLY there to cause disturbance in the finchel ship -.- and I really liked him and I wanted to develop a background story for him. Like Kathryn, I wanted her to find her Frederick, I wanted to see them get together just for the simple fact HE WAS THE ONE FOUND HER CAR ON THE SIDE OF TEH ROAD! It was like this subtle hint at this deeper love between them that was just left like that car on the side of the road. I want to like Tamara I want it to be some kinda plot either with her and August or her and Neal where they do this pretending engagement or maybe she’s doing it for a greater purpose to get inside and help the SB gang….or maybe she’s lost too, being with him to quell some type of loneliness only to go to SB and discover this long lost love and flock to him. I’d like that story because Once is all about the neutral gray area of a person. That not everything is light and pure or dark and evil. There is this gray where everything fits into and that even stands for women after our ship. They can still be endgame without her being horrible. Plus after listening to Jane Espenson’s description about why Rumbelle is going through turmoil, it felt like it applied to Swanthief too. She said how good parts of a relationship happen off camera, rarely do they take part on screen. So why give our couple so many obstacles if they’re not meant ot be? Sorry but there’s no captain Swan obstacle, just chemistry but seriously he has chemistry with any female he talks to, it’s his personality. Doesn’t mean they are meant and he’s far too dedicated to the memory of Milah
GUYS!!! so I was standing in the shower and suddenly an epiphany hit me
So remember how Emma is telling Henry how she had to lie because Neal was this bad guy and a thief, yadda yadda? Well…where do you think he learned all of that????? In the promo he mentions how he knows Hook and has met him so what if Hook is some mentor to him and he was a lost boy? So all his stealing, etc was learned from Hook which is IRONY since the writers were going on about how Hook reminds Emma of Neal. But then i thought further about how when Emma first told Neal she loved him and his face just looks almost shocked but excited. It’s like he needed that love as he lost his mother, he lost his father, and that was the first person he had felt real love from in ages. I think that’s where he is very different from Hook and maybe before he idolized him, hence the stealing and the flirting. That was the part of him he learned from Hook but when he felt real love for Emma he changed, as I think Jennifer herself mentioned how they are similar but Hook and Neal are also very different. Just some food for thought…

Summer is approaching (maybe they’re both looking for project for over break?) but could see the crew using some LA shorelines to be a New Jersey boardwalk. It's been awhile since I was in LA but remember a lot of area having the tourist attractions you'd see in NJ. But, if this is related back to the filming of Lacey – adult Bae and Henry would probably not be included in a NJ scene. So maybe it was just for a weekend of Oscar parties and meeting about break projects.
I live on the Jersey shore and trust me it looks very very different :/ but….I mean I could see it since most of our shoreline got damaged by the hurricane so it’d make sense shooting it elsewhere. It could be that he takes Henry back to his hometown? Doubt it but eh…
I’ve been thinking about this and just as we all had the mass hysteria prior to Manhattan when the fiancee rumor started, I mean well Manhattan subdued me because there were just sooooooo many emotions between those two that you just couldn’t not die of Swanthief emotions. But then the official confirmation that Neal was engaged kind of put us all back into hysteria, myself included. However, I’ve been thinking (which is a good thing we had the hiatus) The fact that Neal talked about fate and Emma just HAD to bring up the whole “Then why the heck did we meet that doesn’t make sense” I think it’s the writers’ way of explaining themselves, explainign why they kept it the same despite the majority of us knowing he was Bae. There’s just something so poetic that he was the one guy she had ever fell in love with, her first real love. The fact he had to leave her was truly because of him, the same reason she had no real family and they were drawn together. It’s just amazing and mind-blowing. And that’s why my panic calmed down and I just kept thinking you couldn’t make him Bae, bring him back into her life, show this whole him barely able to look at her as he pointed to the keychain, a simple cheap keychain he stole and gave to her they both felt so overwhelmed by. Even I keep mentioning her hand clenched and unclenched over it, shook in this way as he pointed she had it on. I’m sorry but if it was really just there to remind her not to trust anyone, why such a reaction like he had caught her? And the way he winced when she said nothing good came from them, when he spoke about fate, and the fact that the first thing you see greeting you in his apartment is the dream catcher. Why have that and not 200 pics of him and his fiancee? And that keychain has to come back up. I just want him to keep it and just ugh…….if they’re not endgame I just….I just can’t even see that as possible. Why bring him in, why make him Bae and just make him “Eh it’s just Emma’s ex” it’s just too beautiful of a story to just drop and push her with the overly flirty pirate whom flirts with everyone(really I don’t understand how people think he’s in love with Emma I really don’t I mean he flirts with every single female and he it’s not even like he mentions Emma again later on, he made one mention how she got her spunk from her mom and that’s it – rant over) But I dunno I’m pretty positive it’s gotta be from Emma’s side. I swore I read something where one of the writers’ said she wasn’t going to be won over easily by him or something like that. IF anyone sees that please link me!

Here’s teh thing it’s not even about looks, it’s about chemistry. In Tallahassee you saw a side of Emma you had never seen before. The same holds true in Manhattan, the way she shook, the hold he still had on her clearly that I don’t even think he really noticed right off the bat. Trust me the Emma tag on Tumblr is so much more now filled with swan thief it’s nuts (I love it though!). I’ve seen a lot of fencers and even other shippers go and say they now like Swan Thief, so I have seen an increase in fans.
