Bad News: I looked at the pictures, and I do believe I saw a star on Agnes’ wrist.
BUT, they could pull a “The Return” on us and reveal that Agnes’ character is someone else, posing as Lily. Bonus: “The Return” was also episode 19.
I have a theory cooking in my head about Lily, inspired by new ideas I’m reading here. BTW… I love the idea of Lily being the Unicorn. But here’s my twist on it.
So we know Cora is coming back, which influences my theory quite a bit. I think once upon a time Regina was pregnant with Daniel’s baby. Regina probably didn’t know she was pregnant at the time of Daniel’s death. When Regina and Cora figured it out, Cora wiped Regina’s memory of the baby (lily), took the baby, and did the same thing to Lily as she did to… wait for it… Zelena! Could be a nice parallel there with Z coming back.
This could explain the “emptiness,” that Regina has felt for this entire story and why only baby Henry could fill that emptiness. Without her baby, that emptiness motivated her to cast the Dark Curse. Something was always missing from Regina, but she (and we) just didn’t know it was her baby.*
A baby would’ve ruined Regina’s chances to become queen, and Cora wasn’t having that. Maybe Cora made a deal with Maleficent to take the baby and hide her from Regina, or maybe Maleficent found the baby after Cora dumped her in the woods. After the whole sleeping beauty fiasco, Maleficent found her happy ending with this baby, which is why she seems reformed in Season 1. This would mean that, through losing her child, Regina would’ve experienced the same pain and agony that Snowing experienced losing Emma, and she would also know what Emma felt to see another mother raising her child.
Maleficent, having made an arrangement with Cora or having figured out the truth about Lily’s parents on her own, knew she had to hide Lily from Regina, which is why when Regina comes around Lily is disguised as a Unicorn. It also means that Regina potentially tried to kill her own daughter in season 1 without knowing it was her daughter.
or, you know, Maleficent and King Stefan are Lily’s parents. My theory could be dead wrong. They usually are lol.
Okay, I have a spin on your theory. After a few years, Lily was taken by the Shadow to Neverland, where she became known as Tiger Lily. This kept her from aging. She later escaped with Bae and the Darling brothers, got adopted, ran away, and met Emma.
1. That orb should be broken.
2. She should be wearing a red dress with a yellow headdress (as per “The Evil Queen”).? Tweet?
