It’s like a weird popup ad or something. Except it switches us to the app store. Then, whenever I come back (I don’t know about everyone else), Safari is on a different webpage, and it does’t acknowledge that I was on the page I was on.
[adrotate group="5"]Jiminy’s JournalParticipantHonestly, I think it’s meant to be the Fairy Godmother’s wand, and they just used the wrong prop.
Jiminy’s JournalParticipantThe story of ONCEWL wasn’t as compelling in the beginning, but I thoroughly enjoyed the second half, probably more so than i enjoyed the Oz-fest on ONCE proper. The series finale of WL was a bit trite and cliche, but it felt like a fairy tale ending. The CGI was horrible–except for the Rabbit!
I too liked it more than the Oz arc (although I would probably have to say that this would apply for all of Wonderland).
It would be nice if ABC were to try their original plan for Wonderland again this year, because Will is now on Once-proper, and they’re doing the same thing for Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter. This could help non-Wonderland viewers get to know him more. Of course, this could depend on how far his arc goes in 4A.
Jiminy’s JournalParticipantActually Jane mostly writes Regina centrics. She was the Rumple writer for S1; Regina writer for S2 and S3 and her one episode for S4 was a Charming centirc; she COWROTE Tallahassee. So, no, she doesn’t do “CS centrics.” Also, they don’t really do “ship” centric episodes.
And Cora.
Jiminy’s JournalParticipant1) Sorry to see you go Grimm. 2) I do want to touch on something Grimm brought up which is the whole “a family that loves me” bit. There seems to be a template for every seasonal villain arc. 1) Villain will be connected to Henry’s family somehow (in this case, Emma’s foster mother) 2) Villain will be misunderstood 3) Villain will be looking for love and going about it in the wrong way. Now I know that evil isn’t born it’s made is a big deal to them and back in S1 and even S2 that was a pretty great idea and message. But this is becoming the same song sung over and over. Pan (and Jafar in WL) were the exceptions which is, IMO, what made them so fascinating and refreshing. Now that they’ve got their template it’s a matter of filling in the blanks and they tend to fill in the blanks with an overdose of shiny! So: Snow Queen is misunderstood villain who wants a family that loves her and is connected to Henry through Emma. Now they fill in the blanks by inserting as much Frozen as possible. I will say…this is the first episode without a Frozen flashback and it was really nice, even if the flashbacks themselves were nothing new.
#3 still applied to Jafar. Then he killed the guy.
Jiminy’s JournalParticipantWhat did Emma wear at the end of Skin Deep since she took Henry for ice cream then?
She wore a parka. I checked. But that doesn’t mean she and Henry didn’t get ice cream some other time.
Jiminy’s JournalParticipantWhat if the mirror was the whole reason she captured Kai in this version of the story? He had two pieces of the mirror in him.
Jiminy’s JournalParticipantI don’t usually ship anyone but I would so love to have Elsa meet and fall for Merida. Could you imagine the ratings exploding if word got out that Once had a canon lesbian relationship? Especially if they got someone as gorgeous as Karen Gillan (that Scottish accent!) to act alongside the stunning Georgina Haig. I think Merida’s bold and wild (feral?) personality would be a delicious contrast to Elsa’s reserved timidity. It would give the writers a chance to experiment with Elsa as Merida could be used to introduce her to things outside of her comfort zone. Plus I can see Merida and Anna being really good friends (going on mad dangerous adventures together, spurring each other on to do things that would give Elsa and Kristoff cardiac arrest if they found out what they were up to). And Sven would have a new horsey play-mate too!!! I am in love with this theoretical couple so much.
Can we call this “Ice Arrow?”
Jiminy’s JournalParticipantI think that may be Charming’s father, going by the theories that Elsa caused the storm that Snow was born during.
Also, is it just me or does that look like the Fortress of Solitude?
Edit: Okay, just read the press release.
