Hmm you know what I think of that tear that Rumple collected for some weird spell from Regina.
We never did see what became of that tear, but I think the writers just forgot about it.
I think Rumple used it for a spell. I recalled Rumple gave the tear to Emma or Snow to track down Regina by seeing what she sees.

So far, I have enjoyed these two episodes FAR more than season 3, as a WHOLE. I just did not like season 3.
It looks like they are making Barbara a good guy again which I don’t like. I want diabolical Barbara.

So is this tear as in a teardrop or tear as in there was a tear in the dress? I could see either, but I’m going with the latter possibly based on the dress tearing scene from Disney’s animated Cinderella. And it just sounds more poetic.
Could be both. One little tear in Ella’s dress, prompting her to shed one little tear, summoning the Fairy Godmother.

I’m assuming the simplest explanation will be that time simply moves faster in that book? However, this makes Giles Matthey’s return as Gideon even more confusing, now.
