Jiminy’s JournalParticipant
Okay, here’s the thing: ratings have been down for a while. They’ve been dropping for, what, the last three years? Somewhere on Tumblr is a post that list the ratings and how they have dropped. I can’t find it right now. I looked. It was from last year, I think.
[adrotate group="5"]Jiminy’s JournalParticipantSo…Netflix?
Pitch has also been cancelled, which I’m even more upset about.
How many shows are going to be cancelled on cliffhangers?
Jiminy’s JournalParticipantHere’s one thing I’ve noticed about Maggie Geha’s portrayal: She acts younger than Clare Foley. Which only adds to the creepiness of aging her up. They make her look older but act younger.
–The CoO have cleansed the city of Gotham twice before? And no one knows about this or figured anything out? Well that seems highly unrealistic.
Wasn’t there some mention about two historical fires back when Oswald was running for mayor?
Jiminy’s JournalParticipantJack Davies as Young Pinocchio
Jakob’s younger brother, perhaps? I just saw him in the sneak peek; he looks just like him.
Which make me wonder: Why didn’t they just get Jakob to play August in “Tougher than the Rest?”
Jiminy’s JournalParticipantThat would be awesome! I don’t ever expect to see Jack again, of course, but they really wasted that actress (she was on Smallville as a main villain/antagonist turned eventual ally), but would be interesting if there was some connection with Jack, Cora, and Jabber too.
You know, it’s a funny thing. I actually found this thread looking for that one quote in RG’s post for a fic that pretty much tells this story (the part I quote here).
I already have the first chapter up.
Plus, it also involves Will and Anastasia’s wedding!*

Tried looking for reviews, to no avail (other than user reviews).
Jiminy’s JournalParticipantJust because this is now a renewed “safe” zone where I can express my opinions and not get any negative comments back from CS shippers as they have found their “safe” zone in which they would not like to discuss, debate, or otherwise analyze their favorite characters with any kind of criticism (big surprise there). I would like to take the opportunity to say I miss Bae and more importantly I miss who Emma as a character was before Bae’s death. I think the show has done a horrendous job with her and with his death. Season 1-3 Emma was tough, fair, and good. Season 4-6 Emma is weak, self centered, and boring. The only conclusion I can come to from this is that Emma was a better person when Neal/Bae was around. I guess that is the definition of true love is that when we are with that person we become the best version of ourselves not because we want to change for that person but becasue that person makes us want to be the best version of ourselves. Emma was definitely a better version of herself with Neal than she is with Hook. Although I would say that Hook is a better version of himself with Emma. My conclusion, Emma’s true love was Neal and Hook’s true love is Emma. Maybe that is why Emma has been struggling so much the last couple of seasons, she is trying to substitute Hook for her true love and it is just not working.
I’d argue that the change happened slowly over the course of S4 and 5A. I think the makeup change we’ve often discussed happened at some point during 4B. I first noticed it in the promo for 4B (the one where she’s standing with the QoD).

I think they are considering Jack to be pansexual instead of bisexual. And with Class, maybe they just meant within the actual Doctor Who show, not the entire canon? I do agree they are rather limiting the definition of gay here, though.
I think they mean “first homosexual regular television companion.” Jack Harkness is pan. Mike Yates and Ace McShane are bi (via Word of God and EU materials). And Oliver Harper is a Big Finish character (companion of the First Doctor).
Jiminy’s JournalParticipantQueerbaiting? What queerbaiting?
