ParticipantOn the slim chance that the show does get saved somewhere, Mark NEEDS to have a guest role!
Maybe he could play the DEL, the Dark Evil Lord?

He should play Chester the Jester’s evil father.

ParticipantFor better or worse I enjoyed more of this arc than I have enjoyed anything about OUAT in a long time. Guess that means I have to my heart broken all over again when S6 inevitably goes sideways… Great.
You did get to use your knowledge of Greek myth, so there’s that. For me, however, I didn’t enjoy much about S5 — probably because S5 was mostly focused on Hook. The finale, by contrast, was not, so I enjoyed it a lot more. I liked all of the Emma-Regina scenes. I also liked the Rumple-Emma-Regina dynamic. I liked the Snow-Regina scenes. Even Henry and Violet were cute (when Henry wasn’t being an annoying teen). However, I could’ve done without all the new characters and the forced CS scene in front of the wedding dress. *twitch*
THIS!
At least we got this:

And yes, I realize I posted a cover.

Participant–Wut? A clone of Gordon complete with a wig!? Wut? Someone….explain?
Clayface!
Which I totally called when his face went all stretchy.
At first I was like, “Milk?”.
Baby!Batman is easier to deal with when he’s part of a group (ironic given his lone wolf status as an adult?)
Honestly, I’ve never been a fan of “lone wolf Batman.” Maybe, it’s because I grew up on reruns of the Adam West series. Nevertheless, Batman needs that support system that is the Bat-Family.
Gotta say, I loved this episode. Ironically, for many of the same reasons as RG (although I am a Fish-fan). Also agree that Lucius is underused on this show. As for the Nygma thing…I think this particular episode had the right amount of Ed. It’s all to set up the next episode. Perhaps if next week’s had also aired tonight…
There seems like an awful lot left to do in the Season finale. Knowing Gotham, chances are they’re either going to rush things, or purposely leave a good chunk unresolved for Season 3.
Most likely, the latter. I’m guessing the CoO will be the S3 plot.
On another note, I’m still crossing my fingers that Jerome will be resurrected by the end of next week’s finale. That’s my number one wish for this show right now. The character still has potential, and let’s face it pretty much the entire fandom wants him back. He really did die too soon. His return would also open up the possibility of him still being the future Joker.
I’m confident he’ll be back. I even made a mock-up.
Also noted, Fish has Kilgrave powers, and Hugo poured tea, which BD’s character did in Jurassic World.

ParticipantLOL or it’s just an actor who happens to look like MRJ from a distance through a camera lens?
Unfortunately, at this point, you’re probably right. But I can still…
However futile.

ParticipantNeal?
In case you don’t believe me:
My theory? This “Forgotten Character Island” was once part of the Underworld, and the portal to it was opened up, when Rumpel used the Olympian Crystal. Everybody but Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde, and Poole have cursed identities, but somehow Neal was able to communicate with Emma (maybe he is aware of whatever emotions Cursed!Neal is feeling?). Just a thought.
Actually, the mishmash style of this place would mesh with different people having different “happy places.”

ParticipantSo what about Charming? What happens if he takes the serum–someone who has more personality than a jar of mayo (I kid, I kid!) (maybe)
His evil twin James would be reborn.
Or David Nolan.

ParticipantLike, I know in my head it’s total SQ bait but …. it was very good bait.
It is, but I’ll gladly take this kind of bait (that feels real, and emotional, and worthy of a pairing with five years worth of progress) over any half hearted attempts at an ILY and a face-suck (no, seriously. Emma could barely get the words out to Hook during that final scene. More side-eye)
It was like this:
Emma: I love you.
Hook stares at her. They kiss.
Meanwhile, the scene that made me a SF fan:
By the way, wouldn’t last night’s episodes have made more sense if Henry had mentioned that Tamara had done this stuff, not Neal?
Also, this:
Hook: Emma, you did it!
Emma: It wasn’t me. It was Henry!
Hook stares at Emma. In his mind he’s saying, “Oh, well then.”
