Jiminy’s Journal
ParticipantThese writers are the least professional bunch with probably one the worst track records towards their talented actors. First, it was MRJ, then Jamie Chung, then Michael Socha and now Sean Maguire
Don’t forget Meghan Ory.
And Amy Manson.

ParticipantActually, yes. What was that about?
I’m hoping this gets fleshed out when we find out what Rumple wants to specifically do with the crystal.
Mmm, agreed.
Maybe the crystal can do something else besides kill a god? in the promo for next week’s finale, there’s a moment with Rumple and what looks like a shard of the crystal. He’s floating it and it’s all glowy…so maybe it can do more…???
Maybe it can resurrect the dead. But not the “ended.”

ParticipantThe Zeus scene: just WHY!? It’s like the writers are saying Captain Guyliner is literally close to godliness!
On the bright side: linked for language.

ParticipantI’m going to say it again: it doesn’t make sense…..the death of Neal was the downfall. I didn’t believe it, but it’s true. No one learns.
This. 3B used to be my least favorite arc. Now Season 5 is my least favorite SEASON. Season 4 gave us some great villains (Ingrid, Ursula, and Cruella), but that’s it.
So, to rank:
S1
WL
2A
3A
4B
4A
2B
3B
5A
5BI need a S1 and WL rewatch.

ParticipantI REALLY don’t like the recycling of storylines. 5A was 3A. 5B was 3B (and some of 3A). It looks like 6A is going to be what 2B was going to be. With the return of The Dragon (which, while certainly opening up some development for the character, is a completely unexpected return), I agree with Matt: they’re going back to the “destroy all magic” plot. That’s…annoying, to say the least.
It’s actually more 5A=3B, and 5B=3A.
I’m serious guys. Season 6 is gonna end with the casting of the Dark Curse and S7 (a short 13 episode arc) will be Cursed! SB of S1 all over again.
Basically,
5A=3B (lost memories, new curse, flashbacks to lost memory time)
5B=3A (let’s go somewhere to save someone)
6A=2B (DESTROY ALL THE MAGIC!)
6B=2A (trapped somewhere?)
S7=S1 (Dark Curse?)While 4A, 4B, and WL were their own things.

ParticipantI’ll keep it brief:
Liked: This episode gave me the ship Captain King. I hate both characters, but they had so much chemistry.
Disliked: Everything else.
Also: “Storybrooke — Present Day” WHY!?

ParticipantYeah, here’s my theory (read: wish) about that scene: Ale of Sinead.
Also, I have a movie recommendation for Swanfire fans: Sing Street.
When I was watching it, I kind of felt like I was watching a 1980s, Dublin, band fan fic.
And no stupid puppet to keep them from finding their “Tallahassee,” which is London.
Also, the soundtrack is great!

ParticipantAlso, from the most recent Hot Seat:
Could Emma have just put half her heart in Hook’s corpse after he died to revive him?
ADAM HOROWITZ: No.Not gonna lie. This made my day.
To be honest, it reminds me of the finale of Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
Sabrina got a hold of hers and her fiancé Aaron’s “soul stones” — friendship stone-like rocks that, when matched with their soulmates’, they will fuse. Each stone has an image of their corresponding soul on it. When matched, the soulmates are kissing.
Well, Sabrina tried very hard to get hers and Aaron’s to fit. They didn’t, no matter what she tried. However, Salem the cat helped Harvey (her high school sweetheart) get his soul stone. In the end she left the wedding, finally accepting Aaron wasn’t “the one.” Outside the chapel, Harvey pulled up on moptorcyle, and they rode off together, as their soul stones fused.
So, aside from Neal being dead, I guess we could say Emma is Sabrina, Hook is Aaron, and Harvey is Neal. Although, Aaron is a bit nicer than Hook.
