Definitely a very strong Season opener! So many great jokes, character moments, and of course the songs! My favorite song is probably a tie between “A New Season” and “Off with His Shirt.” I did enjoy “The World’s Best Kiss” and “Let’s Agree to Disagree” a lot, too. The best character moments were definitely the stuff with Gal and Richard. Those two have amazing chemistry, and I could watch them all day. That’s not to say Isabella, Chef, Sid, Gareth, and Madalena weren’t a ton of fun, cause they sure were!
Of course as a OUAT viewer, certain things were particularly amusing. The Enchanted Forest gay bar run by the Evil Queen, Chef pointing out the plot inconsistencies when Isabella talks about her amulet, and Richard pulling out a sword in the same fashion as Excalibur. I couldn’t help but imagine Chef representing how we feel whenever we notice plot holes on OUAT. This show is very self aware, which is great!“A pirate died.”
Now, hold on. We got Ursula’s tentacles. My guess is we’ll mainly see Hades in robes, with normal hair. Occasionally, we’ll see fire-hair (like when he turns red, even though blue fire is hotter).
Correct me if I’m wrong, but weren’t the Frozen Apple and Black Apple posters from contests run by OUaT’s social media? As in, they’re fan-made?
So, about that poster… Am I the only one who found it riotously funny? I mean, that right there completes Hook’s saccharine Fabio-ization.
In light of this, I petition that we start calling him Hookio.Too close to Rufio.
Having Neal on the poster works much better because fire is his thing. His name is Baelfire! Which means, “bonfire!”
As for the absurdity of that poster? They literally advertised it as “A fiery new look at Captain Hook!” He. Looks. No. Different. Remember his “new outfit” in season 4? Still trying to figure out what that is.
On the bright side: WOO! 2300 Pages!
My favorite one right now is that Neal has to stay dead because his death happened in the real world. And deaths in the real world have to stay that way. By contrast, Hook’s death in the AU of 4B can be undone cause that world wasn’t real.
Cue S5B in which Emma goes to resurrect Hook from his death in the real world.

How sydney was infatuated with regina almost like a love potion and he killed a good, kind man, who freed him, because he was blinded by infatuation.
Is emma blindly infatuated by hook? Is hook infatuated by emma? Because this is not love. Not what i saw in seasen 3. Its not love. Its like Sidney with Regina.
