ParticipantHere on Forgotten Character Isle!
Now THAT is a show I’d like to see. Not this one we have.
The sad part is, we used to have this show. Then they decided to do that stupid two-arc season thing, and we lost our lower-decks episodes.
“Lower-decks.” Nice ref. ?
I was in favor of the mini seasons. It’s supposed to make it easier to tell a tighter story without dragging things out. Works on many other shows, though to be fair they usually have the restraint to ONLY make 13 episodes or so for an entire season.
Actually, I’m glad they did it on Gotham. Get the Galavan arc done with (well, except for the twist). Have Indian Hill next. Actually SHOW the “Rise of the Villians”
Agents of SHIELD does it well. To perfection, in fact.
But for OUaT, it just holds it back. For example, Neverland lost some good flashback potential, because it was rushed. Instead of flashbacks of Bae on Neverland Island, we got these disconnected flashbacks about Snow pulling a fake Excalibur and facing Medusa. I mean, what?

ParticipantYou guys have come up with far more interesting theories than I could have. I still hate the premise. Frankly, I’m tired of getting what “might be fun to see” instead of a well-woven story.
Seriously. The only “arc” a want to see is a three-season-long Kingdom Hearts arc. Think of how it could bring back the “fairytale of the week” format of old. While, at the same time, actually building on something.
I liked the stuff with Ingrid; I liked the Queens of Darkness, but I wouldn’t mind hitting a reset button to the end of 3A.

ParticipantLeave it to Cora to be the Mayor of Hell. She wouldn’t have it any other way more than likely.
It’s interesting you say that because in classic myth everyone knows that Persephone is Hades’s bride. But there’s another name for her that often isn’t used: Kore/Cora. It means maiden and it’s meant to emphasis Persephone’s youth, but count on OUAT to flip it.
And they have two kids, Melinoe and Zagreus (Zagreus lives inside your head).
Something to note is that in AAiW, the QoH has TEN kids. Which I wouldn’t put past Cora. Anything to spread her influence.

Participant– Also, 5 minute dark curse vs 9 month dark curse?
Regina’s Curse didn’t take nine months. She had preparations to make, and she had try twice, because the first time she used her horse’s heart. When she spoke with Rumpel, he was already in the cage, too. That didn’t happen until after Ella was married, and Snowing were already married, when they attended her wedding. A great deal of the first two episodes’ flashbacks do not occur until after the last flashback in “The Price of Gold.”
Whatever happened to Arthur’s plan to turn SB into a new Camelot?
Who knows?! Like someone said a page or two back, it’s like the story changed halfway through.
Yeah, the Camelot crew hasn’t been seen in SB, since they saw Princess Leia Merlin…
But we definitely saw them get picked up by the Curse in this episode.
