ParticipantOnly one of them has ever been shown to be significant, so…
ETA: I don’t see the purpose of having her mess with the circle when we’ve never seen that messed with, whereas we’ve seen her worry on/hold the pendant (the funeral comes to mind but I want to say there’s others.) They put her in The Bug – it’s where they had her run to while playing a variation on their theme – which picked back up in this scene. It’s A Thing, I’m just sayin’.

ParticipantOkay, we just watched and I have many thoughts but I expected to see lots of fanning action based on this, but… nada. Am I the only one who noticed that she was playing with the necklace in this scene?
The end of the ep was super feelsy for me but I seem to be the only one!

ParticipantI think what he tweeted he would film in January is the PSA for Bullies Keep Out.

ParticipantI do think there’s a scenario where MRJ would happily come back – if when Neal was killed it was explained to him that they were doing a bold story where SF would overcome the impossible, (because Emma’s parents overcame a sleeping curse to end up together and they want Emma’s own TL to trump that somehow), which would require Neal to be dead for a season or two before coming back. If something like that’s been pre-arranged and pre-discussed, he’d have no problem going back.
But, there I go again with the IFs.
Phee lives in my brain.
First of all, I’ll go out on the limb and say yeah, I’m selfish – I want him back. I’d like to see the end of this story. I don’t need him back tomorrow and for the duration of the series (although that would be grand,) but I’m not willing to be the bigger person and say “I hope he gets bigger and better projects and never comes back to Once” – I DO hope that he gets amazing projects BUT I’d also like to see him back for a half-dozen episodes to give some actual closure to the arc. 517-522 or whatever would be totally fine by me, I could live with that.
I’m also of the opinion that getting into the Top 5 was a smashing success, undoubtedly it caused ABC to take notice, and it’s one of the very few things that might have the ability to make them consider things differently. But, it’s just my opinion, certainly. I don’t expect him to win, honestly I’d be astonished if he did, but I’m not sure that him winning would create more waves than just the nomination.
But if A&E’s vision remains the same, I can only think that it is a positive in terms if they have to convince ABC to go along with their vision.

ParticipantMy personal hope is that they’re doing some sort of reverse parallel. Yes, Rumple is doing crappy things but Belle KNOWS he’s a man who does crappy things. She loves him eyes wide open and in spite of that. They also have history, and love, and a marriage. OTOH, Emma is dating Hook because he’s “changed,” supposedly no longer a bad guy, but he’s still doing crappy things as he insists that he hasn’t. EVERYTHING they “have” is built on a lie. Rumbelle is dealing with a lie, in the context of a relationship that was built on solid ground, at least. But I fear that story is a bit too complex for Once at this point; nevermind that Hook has lied about 57 hundred billion more things than Rumple has (and who is the villain, here?)
Is it horrible that I was hoping that the dagger bit would come out in 406 just so Hook wouldn’t have anything left to hold over Rumple?
It’s interesting to me that they clearly paralleled SF after Snowing – the truest of true loves – and CS is getting paralleled, apparently, after Rumbelle. First of all, that’s a really odd thing to do, and secondly it seems to be some sort of statement (one that strikes me as much as a slam on Rumbelle as it does a slam on CS! Ouch! Kind of offends me, frankly…)
Seriously, when you’re trading out MOST of your fanbase via MULTIPLE fan sections to make this ill-indicated ship sail…

ParticipantRoomie asked if that line was supposed to be endearing. I told her I didn’t think so.
I kind of wonder if the Hook’s kiss being the thing that robs her of what makes her special is an ongoing thing – like, it started there by literally robbing her of her magic (it floated off into the ether! – and wait, remind me again how she got it back? OH YEAH, MEMORY OF NEAL (sorry I’m having a moment)) but it’s continuing. As she continues to be with Hook, it’s robbing Emma of her Emma-ness… everyone in the fanbase is well aware of how un-Emma Emma is.
You might be right, RG, it’s just when they use identical turns of phrase that my ears perk up. I’m completely certain that the Hans thing was intentional… I feel like there’s something else I’m forgetting, too, that Hook’s done and is portrayed as “terrible” in a parallel. It was a big enough plot point that it was carried over multiple episodes (317-18-19-20 to lose her magic and then 21-22 until she got it back) and it hasn’t been THAT long since that arc so it could go either way.

ParticipantHumbled. Yeah, he should be.
(‘Cause for the record, even if I am willing to tentatively subscribe to the cracktheory that it’s all a grand plan… that doesn’t mean it’s not an error!)
BTW we finally watched the show last night, and this line jumped out at me, Anna to the Snow Queen –
“They went to him looking for a way to strip Elsa of the thing that makes her special.”
It’s portrayed as a terrible, sad thing – Anna can’t bear to tell Elsa that it’s true that someone would want to strip her of her magic. It certainly made me think of this –
“…the next time your lips touch Emma Swan’s, all of her magic will be taken. Everything that makes her special, that makes her powerful, that makes her a threat will be gone.”
If it weren’t for the other anti-CS threads they’ve woven into the Frozen story *cough*Hans*cough, I’d think it was reaching, but it’s what I instantly thought of when Anna said it.
Just me?

ParticipantWoke up this morning to Rainbow congratulating me over Facebook and I was like “Who and the what now?” I should probably stop being surprised at what people can accomplish over platforms like twitter. So now how about that pipe dream of getting MRJ to pose with Puck?
YAYYYY Text! I was so excited to see all of that on Tumblr this morning!!
And, why do I smell an adventure coming?
