Watched 401. Survived. (43 to go!) It wasn’t as bad as I had feared it might be, so there’s that.
I actually had more trouble with the recap before the show, since they had to actively go out of their way to exclude him from that. Roomie posed the excellent question of, if they’re going to acknowledge him in the show, why work so hard to exclude him from the recap? It’s all so odd.
Overall, it felt like Once again, so I’ll take it. It seems that so long as I avoid spoilers and interviews – especially interviews – and tumblr, I can handle still watching the show. Since it’s supposed to be “roommate bonding time” in our household, I am trying desperately to still be able to watch the show – that and, you know, it was my freaking favorite show until 3B. I’d really like to still be able to watch it!!
ETA: Forgot to say that I’m actually really interested in the “who wrote the book” story. I figured after its reappearance in MM’s closet and rewriting of itself in 322, the book was kind of its own entity and perhaps a part of the curse, so to hear that they are re-visiting the author angle is intruiging to me. I am pretty much spoiler free so maybe there’s more info on this but I am perfectly happy not knowing 😉

I can say on my end, I made the conscious decision to start thinking of/referring to him as Bae, at least inside my head, partway through 3B. I’m of the opinion that when (<del datetime=”2014-07-09T23:54:44+00:00″>if</del>) ever they pull their heads from their butts & bring him back, he’ll be strictly Bae, so I adjusted my thinking ahead of time.
But I’m not sure it’s of much consequence; we’re all pretty adept at identifying characters by multiple titles. I almost use the two names interchangeably at this point, I think.

Puck and I took a little field trip today. I was off early, the weather was beautiful… and I wanted him to see some of the sights before he headed back to the Great White North.

Puck may or may not have found some swings. They are not the RIGHT swings but I suppose they’ll do in a pinch… 😉
