There is some debate on whether Henry departed upset, or just happened to get up from the table.

I am with Phee, what a waste of a beautiful story. The worst part is that they STILL made it clear in this episode, Neal defined Home for her (literally defined it, she parroted his words,) AND saved them all… again… with the skills he taught her. And his reward? Getting to stay dead, while the girl he loves makes out with the pirate who stole his mom.
No one sees how incredibly wrong this is? “Story demanded it?” No, you betrayed the story by writing it. Give me a flipping break.
Agree that the Marian 180 in attitude is the icing on the cake. “She was going to die.” So she knowingly altered history to save Marian, but begged Rumple NOT to save the man she claims to have loved from certain death?
They just have just utterly assassinated the character of Emma Swan to make CS fly. That is so amazingly disappointing to me.
Sigh. Watching our final beautiful SF scene one more time and then heading to bed. At least there’s fanfic, we’ll always have fanfic…

I just don’t understand what happened to this story. It was clicking on along just fine, and then… hard left. WTF? I had that skinniest glimmer of hope, well, after all, it is a Phoenix, but still… nope. Ok maybe his Dad will bring him back, but, no, OOC nope.
Screw you, show. That’s three sets of eyeballs in this household you don’t have any more.

I wouldn’t watch. If you feel the need to watch some things, the SF scene is right at the hour mark tonight (pretty sure it is the opening scene of 322, actually.)
If nothing else, there is consolation to all of those who were angry at Neal for sending her to jail… he got her home, which is all he EVER tried to do. It’s why he walked away that night in Portland. He defined home for her, and he got her there. He loved her enough to sacrifice his happiness and his life for her… and now she can get it on with the pirate who stole his mother. I can’t even.
I am so angry right now. Not mad-angry, like crying-frustrated angry. What the crap happened to this story?
And I am just not sure I will totally be over the fact that Henry headed off somewhere, grieving, and *no one* gave enough of a crap to take care of him.

Yes, Phee. That is *exactly* what they did.
They had Emma wish Neal dead in 306
They had Emma assist in his death in 315
They had Emma ask for him to stay dead in 322Funny way to treat someone you “love.”
But of all the things in this episode, I can’t – I can’t even – that Henry walked out, upset about his Dad. And when Emma left, apparently to go follow him, she instead went and made out with a pirate. I just picture that poor baby crying by himself somewhere, and nobody gave enough of a crap to go comfort him.
Way to suck as a Mom, Emma. Way to suck as a Mom.
Anyways, that SF scene was completely adorable and somehow makes it simultaneously hurt less and more. How is that even possible?

Well. Got more than I figured we would, I guess.
So Neal fixes it all, achieves his goal of getting her home… and is still dead.
“You killed a man for your ship.” Congrats, A&E.
