So much love for all of you. The insanity that has been the last six weeks… I have acquired friends (some of my closest, dearest IRL friends even) from fanbases before but I’ve never bonded as quickly or as intensely as I have here. Most of me wishes – after nine years of not letting myself ship – that I’d held out just those two more weeks. If I had had ANY clue that I was walking into a ship that was 14 days from dead, I would have run the other way. But then there’s the part of me who found friends that I adore, with whom I sincerely hope I can maintain a bond after all of this madness is over. Where else will I find people who know what #HopeforRogueBison, NealWHALE and Sad Town mean… or who appreciation for my crazy amazing cartography skills?
I’m about to bail until after the show airs, since I am going no spoilers from the Canadian airing. I’d rather just take it as it comes instead of worrying over someone else’s interpretation. Just remember, no matter what the show tells us tonight, we all knew how to recognize a poetic love story when we saw it. Whether we miraculously get continued poetry or we remain at Blarggle, you guys are my favoritest fanbase, our tiny, insane corner of this Fairytale world. TheOnionGirl, and all others who are departing us here – thank you for your insights, your company, and your welcoming of my and my complete insanity. Those who will stay, I will see you on the flip side, where we can begin to figure out “life after 322.” Hopefully it still includes Once, but if it can’t, it needs to still include each other.

If the green smoke that went out of the pendant & opened the portal was supposed to be not Zelena’s magic but her soul, then obliteration of a soul could easily be her.
Worth a note that they didn’t say it was the only death, but rather, whether or not you counted that effects the number of deaths.
I think Henry’s ok. They called him the heart of the show (or something like that) in another interview. Which is good, because I was honestly starting to worry.

Spent my flight contemplating story vs interviews and considering what has been the greatest predictor of what we’ve seen on our screens thus far. I seem to have crawled back onto the very corner of optimism (or maybe I’ve got one foot on each train car, I dunno.)
*sigh* This show is gonna kill me yet.

Is it, though? I feel like the show has danced around it. We have Belle’s statement – she spoke from her heart, but does that make it canon? We have the realm-traveling objects, which seem exclusive to canon TL couples. We have the lights at Henry’s birth, matched up with the lights at the Snowflake’s birth, which seem to indicate a TL baby, but they’ve stopped short of outright saying that. I feel like they have given us “softball” TL.
On Once, the canon indicator of TL is the TLK that breaks a curse. We’ve seen it with Snowing (a couple of times,) Rumbelle, Philora etc but they’ve stopped short of doing it with the triangle. SF have never kissed outside of “Tallahasee” and CS has had non-TLK kisses but they can excuse those if they so desire. Until/unless someone gets a TLK *or* they give official explanation of flickering lights at birth, they’re not *quite* canon – no matter how much I personally believe it to be true.
Interestingly, Other Roomie has referred to them as TL – “Well, he’s her TL, right?” – so it may play differently to GA. But they have implied a lot without going totally canocal, and we know how these guys love their semantics & loopholes.
