Usually when a guy like that gets frustrated, it does not turn out well for the subject of his “affections.” That terrifies me, honestly, as a characterization of story.

Yeah. The 30 years is interesting.
Read a comment in the A&E interview that made me wonder if Rumple is the S4 big bad… which I could easily forsee if Emma & Hook don’t do anything to warn him of Neal’s death. If they get back to modified-time SB and Rumple finds out he didn’t warn them so they could prevent it… stuff will hit the fan.
So now I am thinking that’s where they are going, and it’s the why of things, and we won’t get MO322 after all. Boo. Somebody want to interpret it differently for me?

Read the Hollywood Reporter interview, and was reminded of why I always try to find the source quotes whenever possible. Kitsis did NOT say that he would be depressed if Hook doesn’t win Emma. He said he would be depressed if romance didn’t rear its head. As we saw from yesterday’s ABC article, “romance” means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. It doesn’t mean, “Hook wins,” it just means there may be the opportunity for moments. (And yes, that will suck, but hopefully it drives home the wrongness of it all the more.)
The exact quote –
Hook wasn’t happy when Emma said she was thinking of leaving town. What is he going to do to ensure that that doesn’t happen?
Kitsis: He is getting fed up because it’s like the entire world cannot resist my charms, why is one person I fall in love with so resistant to me. Yep. IMO, at least at that point (which I assume is fairly early in the ep,) we have not veered significantly from where we have been. Hook has a crush. Emma doesn’t care.

Watched the sneak. Braced myself for falling sky… regretting leaving the safety of the tent under the table for the train, where I was protected from sky pieces. But, it didn’t come.
That just… wasn’t that bad.
She didn’t make herself Diana – or Camilla – to his Charles. She didn’t make them William & Kate. No, she made him a cheater, and herself from an entirely different story – nay, a different realm. You can almost see Emma’s wheels turning, “Think of a princess, think of a princess… Cinderella. No! Aurora. No… Belle? No, damnit, these people actually exist here. Princess they won’t know… Leia!”
The sky might yet fall, but those :45 of an 85 minute ep left the clouds above head where they belong.
