Participant@Rainbow – that’s actually really interesting to me. I’ve wondered, “Why Tallahassee?” Read up on Wikipedia, figured it was Phoenix-related or something, but, no. Hadn’t been able to find the logic, it lives on my “list of stuff to post about.” Perhaps that’s it?
@RG – given that the red jacket is Emma’s armor, yeah, I could buy it as a shell. Also, “Bae,” said aloud sounds like a bay of water, works for “near the water” and also where lobsters are often found? Why not.

ParticipantCapt Potato has a history of hauling drowning folks up, hence my worry. We don’t need you on his ship OR sold to the lost boys!! :p
Keb, that theory has definitely been floated. If we are book ending the half-season, Emma should get a TLK (and maybe even a proposal that she accepts, but I think that might be stretching it no matter which way the wind blows.)
It seems to me she is NOT going to get it from the guy who non-TLK’d her at the beginning of the season *and* cursed-lips stole her magic in the ep before the finale. Emma is. not. interested.
The easy and logical explanation is to bring back her TL (immortal lobster?) and have him plant one on her. The illogical and insane explanation is to do… something else… and since this half-season has been illogical and insane I am expecting that.
If this show spent 9 episodes showing us that Emma has NO interest in
Hook, only to do a 180 in the last two episodes, I am going to be hot pissed. But I remain pretty confident – MO322 or not – that’s not going to happen. In fact, somebody above pointed out they were sending Hook and Emma on an adventure, just the two of them. True! But then it dawned on me – it is underscoring AGAIN that this is exactly what Emma does NOT want. It goes back to the CS convo in the woods – always on another adventure. Emma wants pizza, fruit roll ups and video games. She is SO OVER adventuring and yet here they go again; this time the life she has to save is her own. Girl is weary of all this and just. wants. to go home.
Pipe dream idea: in original reality, Rumple schemes to get Snowing together. Perhaps, in AU reality, since Emma will be busy trying to Hook up her parents, Rumple will decide to scheme instead to get Emma back to her TL? It certainly would be of benefit to both parties… and as an added bonus, he could take away Hook’s “love” just as Hook took his. Might be a bit of poetic justice 🙂
The more I ponder this time travel reality, the more firmly entrenched I become in the idea that it would actually be harder NOT to bring Bae back than to do it. When Emma speaks with Rumple, tells him who she is, it seems likely that Bae will come up in conversation. If it leads to Rumple finding out what happened, he will stop at NOTHING to save his son. Remember, he was willing to manipulate numerous lives and curse untold thousands to reach him! So, certainly, they CAN omit him from discussion but really… a small change to just about anything could alter the time continuum enough to have him NOT put the key in the vault.
In order to have both Rumple & Bae alive I think we would actually have to go back to before Neverland – or maybe to the end of Neverland and defeat Pan differently. I certainly don’t think that’s going to happen, I was just pondering when exactly the change would need to happen. Or, simple balefire Zelena, her magic is undone, Neal lives.
So many ways to fix it. I have no faith that they’ll pick any of them, but try though I might to squelch it, I do have hope.

ParticipantMore evidence to argue it’s probably Snowing – their kid is Emma. (R&R’s kid, also Emma.)

ParticipantUm. Heather. Don’t do that. Captain Potato sails that river, and you do NOT want to get taken aboard his ship.
Sad town is better. I promise.

ParticipantNice catch, Slurpeez. I’m gonna go ahead and count that as A Thing.
I have no question the retweet was about the show. Just who it was about, on the show. Rumple is ACTUALLY immortal, but I don’t think he and Belle have had the back-and-forth that to me feels indicative of the “mates for life” like R&R had. I dunno, maybe our Rumbellers could argue w me?
So that leaves Snowing or SF; I could see arguments either way. The 1×20 scene makes me lean towards SF (plus, you know, the fact that that’s what I WANT it to mean,) but I guess it also could be argued that Emma came through at a lobster shack not because SHE is a lobster but because her parents are lobsters and she’s a lobster baby.
I feel like Lottie, in Pricess and the Frog, at this point. “Oh please oh please oh please oh please oh PLEASE!!”

ParticipantI decided I needed to chill the freak out so I went to read some fanfic. Honest to goodness, I get not more than half a chapter before SF have the following line of dialogue –
“Miner’s Day so what they mine for lobster or something?”
It’s fate, fate I tell ya! Full on loopy over here, yes I am.

ParticipantI read all of his tweets right on his twitter feed, so I deliberately go there to read them. And yes, aside from Once, baseball and fanning of sci-fi generally sums it up.

ParticipantMeh perhaps it is just referring to Snowing anyways. After all, “I will always find you” and life after crushed hearts is perhaps a better fit. 😉

ParticipantThat’s what Phoebe tells us, hey? And functionally immortal, I will take it.
I don’t recall Adam being one to randomly retweet stuff?

Participant@Heather – did you see this retweet from Adam?! Please tell me your brain went the same place mine did?!?!
Lobsters are functionally immortal – They show no signs of aging, loss of appetite, no change in metabolism and no decline of health.
