I know how you feel. I was talking more about people outside of this forum in general (like tumblr and imbd and so on) but there are a few that occasion this thread and, like I said, others on this forum that donât feel the way we do. Iâm just tired of people telling me how to feel and how to interpret the show. You all here in our haven are lovely and wonderful and would never tell someone their feelings arenât valid even if they donât align with yours. And of course there is no problem if people have theories and think that there is something else going on. Thatâs not at all what I am irritated about. Crack theories and hoping that there is a purpose to all of this is expected. I think itâs great that you think the story will come back around.Okay, good! I didn’t think it was likely, but I know my
optimisminsanity is out of the norm of the thread, and the LAST thing I want is for anyone to feel I am belittling their viewpoint. I feel so so so honored that you have all embraced me and allowed me to set up camp in my corner here under the table and the very last thing I want to do is cause anyone more heartache than they are already going through due to this $%&%^*((I donât get why u people unnecessarily hate on Killian. He has shown immense character development from s2. He has gone from being a villain to a hero, he has changed completely for Emma, which we saw him trying to do in s2. Youâre just an idiot who ships ST/SQ/Gremma/WS and fails to acknowledge canon. Itâs in canon that Killian loves Emma, he SWEARED ON HER NAME. Killian/Emma are meant to be whether you like it or not. Now I suggest u start watching OUAT again bc OUAT is not just about ships.
Iâm just weird, I guess. I donât like other people (strangers mostly) telling me what to do and how to feel and what I should and shouldnât accept.

B) Everyone who ships not-CS is an idiot? Seriously? Wow, it’s cool, I didn’t realize that Captain Hook & Emma’s story was referenced throughout S1, before Hook even appeared on the canvas. (Oh wait, it didn’t? That was SF? Huh. Interesting.)
C) No, OUAT is not about ships. It’s about family, one big, dysfunctional, family, all connected by one little boy. Except of course a random pirate, who is only connected to the family by I) destroying a marriage, II) rendering a little boy motherless, III) selling same said boy to agents of a monster, IV) trying to kill almost every member of said family (which is really multiple items but I will consolidate for brevity’s sake,) V) assisting in kidnapping child of aforementioned boy, and VI) making a play for true love of aforementioned boy. He is not a member of the family, he is a wanna-be, hanger-on’er, who is enamored with the idea of being in wuv with a key member of the family (despite the fact that he acts at best like a fairweather friend towards her and at worst as an abuser.) And OUAT lost its way when it decided to remove a key member of the family, in favor of phasing in the pirate. OUAT is said to be a fairy tale, Emma and Henry’s fairy tale, and right now, I am pretty sure we are living Emma & Henry’s waking nightmare. It’s not about ships, it’s about the show, and this is not the show I invested 2.5 years into.
(Please excuse, now we all know why DSB hides in her happy little save haven with people who don’t insult their fellow fans and who have at last a semblance of a grasp on the plot of the show! Do.not.tolerate.others.well.)

Seriously, those two could find humor in the fact that they almost married other people. There was enough love to make it through all of that pain and THAT IS WHAT THE SHOW IS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT!! Well that and, you know, happy endings. With your true love. (Oops, my bitterness is showing.)
If we’re sticking on the theme of Kelly Clarkson songs, every time I think of that last scene in the woods – before Emma’s phone rings – I hear “I forgive you” play in my head. “We were just a couple of kids…” Such a freeing moment!

RG, I was just talking about her smiles. And how both of them have such a spring in their steps as they walk down the street in NYC – she still “hated” him at that point, yet she’s all smiley and bouncey. Emma Swan does not bounce… except with Neal. *sob*
Even Henry rarely gets smiles as genuine as we’ve seen her have with Neal. I feel like it’s a crime against the character of Emma to take Neal away from her. :/

Iâm tired of people telling me to get over Nealâs death and that it was necessary. You have that opinion, fine, but I donât need to hear it. I know how you feel and you know how I feel. I will never be âoverâ his death. I will never understand that it was necessary. And most of all, I will never ever agree with the way Neal died and how he got there. I will always think it was OOC and nothing will change my mind about that.

I know most of you feel the same way but there are a few here who donât and definitely others in this forum that donât agree with this at all. And thatâs fine. I have no problem with different opinions. Anyone can think whatever they want. Iâm just mostly tired of some not having the same respect to let me feel how I feel and keep on wanting to change our minds about it. At this point, there is nothing that will change my mind and no amount of âspinningâ things is going to change it either. Iâve heard it all and I still feel the same way as I did when I saw the episode the first time.
Astra – not sure who those in the thread don’t agree with you, but just in case my viewpoint is included in that group – I want to apologize if I have ever made you feel you need to justify your viewpoint! For the record, I agree wholeheartedly; IMO the show jumped the shark in 315. All I could think as I watched it was, “This show is jumping the shark… *as I watch!*” The death was out of character, and furthermore, totally unnecessary.
I *have* postited that it might actually be story-driven. That is wholly dependent on a return by 322, and even if it is story-driven and we get our happy ending, I STILL don’t think it was necessary. IF Neal’s death is the death of a regular in 3B, then “story demanded it” is bullshit. And in ANY event, it was totally OOC.

If Neal only gets one more flashback/whatever scene in the showâŚwhat would you all want it to be?
Read this at work today (bad DSB) and pondered it for a while. I feel like, of the characters important to him, he got at least some sort of closure (no matter how craptastic) with his Dad and Emma. That leaves Henry, so if we were to only get one more scene, I think I would want it to be with him. However I HATE ghost visit goodbye idea, but had the thought that – once Henry gets his memories back – they could have Henry “remember” the goodbye he had with his Dad at the town line in 311. It would be new to the viewers, and give a nice sense of closure to that ridiculous gap they left open. Whenever Henry gets his memories back, he will grieve for real, and the thought just guts me.
Secondary to that, I echo what RG said, I’d like to see the post-script to Tallahassee of someone-not-Neal calling the cops, and some sort of action from Neal to redeem that which viewers apparently hold against him. But – unlike the Henry scene – I can’t see much point to that, unless we are getting more than one scene, since the story that it would advance is now apparently irrelevent. (Another topic entirely!)
Thirdmost preferred would be some sort of Bae-to-Neal transitional scene, but again – not much point to learn more about the character of Nealfire if he no longer has a place in the Onceiverse.
