ParticipantIf anyone has already called this, please put me down as seconding the idea.
1) I call that once Gold figures out that Belle is alive, he will try to take her and leave as the curse begins to break (we already know he’s planning a trip to look for his son)
2) Regina will silence Jefferson by locking him up in the mental ward

ParticipantI think what happened in FTL happened strictly in the past, and the events taking place SB are not occurring at the same time with FTL, but are rather reflections of the past. As for magic being present in SB, I’m not quite sure if Regina is really the only one with it. The magic she had was connected to objects she had brought with her from FTL. If magic can be connected to objects, then there ought to be other people who also have it.

ParticipantI was honestly expecting her to figure it out in the finale. Maybe she realized it as things started changing?

ParticipantIt’s really hard to say. We have no idea what point in time or even where he landed in our world. He could be anywhere from medieval Europe to Japan in a futuristic space age. Regardless of where or when he landed, he definitely would’ve had trouble adjusting. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had run-ins with the police every now and then. Like you said-he had no parents, no education, and no idea of where he was in our world.

ParticipantOr maybe Ruby will run across Belle the way she did with Katheryn?

ParticipantHe might still be in the bean-wormhole 😯

ParticipantI think when he said that this world had no magic, he meant the rest of the world outside SB. SB looks like it operates as a world within a world. It’s a place founded on magic, within a world without magic. The entire situation seems contradictory doesn’t it? It has magic, even though it’s not supposed to.

ParticipantI love everyone in this thread. 😀
BTW, how do you attach images? I can’t seem to attach any..dorothy
ParticipantSince the writers said that nothing is being held back in the finale, I call that at the very end of the episode we’ll see a 14 year old Bae crawling out of the bean-wormhole. That would make me throw things at the tv! 😮

It has been stated several times “Emma has a talent for finding people”.
I think Mr. Gold will enlist Emma to find Bae in some way shape or form. It will no doubt be in some round about way, just as he has done everything else. But I believe that is also why he says now that she is sheriff she just may be able to pay him back. She would have many more means at her disposal to track someone down either magically once she believes or through being in law enforcement.

Remember back in “Price of Gold” when Emma asked “What do you want?” and Gold replied “Oh I don’t know just yet?” Maybe he held off asking about his son right away because he doesn’t have all the information about Bae yet to properly put his favor into writing!

That would be brilliant, Snowfan. I’d love to see Ruby involved in the search too.
Me too!!
