Though would he go that far, because if she sees it and sees the name on it, she’ll know who he is, and I’m not so sure he’d want that. But if he wants her to start believing in all the fairytale stuff badly enough, maybe he’d be willing to give up his name?
His favor may have something to do with the dagger, but Emma still doesn’t know who Rumple/Gold really is, so how would she know that the dagger is actually his? Even if he’s trying to get her to believe in the curse and FTL, I doubt he’d just outright tell her his real name, because it would lead him to having to explain his backstory. He’s been trying to get Emma to form an alliance with him since she’s been elected sheriff, and now that Rumple/Gold finally has it I doubt he’d put it in jeopardy by giving Emma an excuse to write him off as crazy.

You know, since Henry hasn’t figured out who Gold is yet and in the preview it looks like Gold thinks that August is there to kill him I wonder if they will have Gold do something totally unexpected to try to get Emma to start believing.
Maybe Rumple/Gold is leaving breadcrumbs for her to follow up on his real identity? Or maybe he’ll ask her to take the dagger back as a way of trying to protect his identity? We still don’t know if he’s in Henry’s book, or what it even says about him.
If the whole ordeal with the dagger will be a way for Emma to find out about Gold’s real identity by herself, then I think the million dollar question of the day is:
Would Emma still want an alliance with him?

The Hydra (Greek mythos)
The Minotaur (Greek mythos)
The Thunderbirds (Native American mythos)There’s a lot of potential creature characters for this show.
dorothyParticipantYou got me all excited thinking they were going to do something Harry Potter related! 👿
But yeah-it would be cool if one of the doors in Jefferson’s hat lead to Hogwarts!
dorothyParticipantI’m happy with finally finding out how Snow made her angry, but satisfied? Not so much. I watched the episode again earlier, and I realized that the root of Regina’s anger towards Snow isn’t just Daniel’s death-she knows it was her mother that killed him. It was that she thinks Snow told her mother while knowing exactly what would happen (losing Daniel vs. losing her mom).

I guess I was just expecting something a little more dramatic that would lead someone to want to curse the whole world. I get that Regina blamed Snow for ruining her chance to be happy with Daniel. And I can see that leading her to try to have Snow poisoned or her heart ripped out, or even to kill James when she found out Snow was in love with him. But the collateral damage of this curse is pretty much everybody.
You’re right-in Regina’s pursuit of “justice,” she’s run over so many other people who had nothing to do with Daniel’s death just to get her revenge on this one person whom I’m sure Regina knows was being manipulated!

dorothyParticipantI feel the same way! If she had announced publicly that she was going to leave with Daniel instead of Leopold, and “mysteriously” ended up coming back saying that she changed her mind, that would’ve been more of a humiliation.
Maybe she’s referring to episode 2 when she tried to enact the curse the first time and it didn’t work?
dorothyParticipantI also just saw the preview! I think that proves that he might either might be Bae or at least someone who knows about the dagger and what it does.
dorothyParticipantYup. Just saw the episode, still don’t feel sorry for her. But I will say that her mom messed her up big time.
dorothyParticipantI just found this on another blog-it’s the casting credits for The Return!
David Anders (Dr. Whale), Anastasia Griffith (Abigail/Kathryn Nolan), Keegan Connor Tracy (Blue Fairy/Mother Superior), Meghan Ory (Red Ridding Hood/Ruby), Giancarlo Esposito (Magic Mirror/Sidney Glass), Beverley Elliott (Granny), Dylan Schmid (Baelfire), Conner Dwelly (Morraine), Greyston Holt (Fredrick/gym teacher), Gabe Khouth (Sneezy/Mr. Clark), Michael Coleman (Happy), Mig Macario (Bashful), Jarod Joseph (Billy), Christina Gooding, and Michael Roberds
The title could also be referring to the return of Kathryn!

Btw, I realise that Prince Charming is wearing his red cloak in the Pilot at the war counsel, but he just gave it to Rumpel in Heart of Darkness, which was before said counsel! o.ô Does he get it back?
No, the one he gave Rumple was another cloak-it was black.
Speaking of Red, seeing Ruby transform into a wolf would be an even bigger shocker!
