I don’t think Regina knows about Rumple’s son, and if she did she’d probably toss him in the Psych ward next to Belle.
[adrotate group="5"]dorothyParticipantTricky question.
Well, you would have to look at it from Emma’s perspective. She’s been alone for all her life without parents, and to find out that her parents were actually really heroic people who gave her up is probably like a punch in the stomach to her. Maybe throughout the years she’d been bracing herself to find out that her parents may not have been the best types of people to live with and she might have been better off without them. It probably doesn’t matter to Emma, because like she said, all it matters to her is that they gave her away. Which to her probably means “They didn’t want me.”
You can’t really wipe away 28 years of hurt feelings with a hug.
dorothyParticipantDon’t get me wrong-I WANT this new guy to be Baelfire. I REALLY want him to be, but I have a feeling the writers are gonna toy with us again like they did with August. We know if he’s getting a card from SB then he must definitely be connected to someone there.

My thoughts exactly as I was watching. Here’s a thought: Whale says to Charming “you’re not my prince” but could Whale be a prince in his own right? I have absolutely no idea what prince he could be, but he could possibly be a ruler himself and he’s not about to be commanded by someone else. Just a random thought, and most likely not gonna happen 😆
I think he said that as a way of saying “You’re not the boss of me.”

Belle threatens to leave Mr. Gold if he doesn’t change his ways; the dwarves try to find fairy dust in the Storybrooke mine; Rumplestiltskin tries to save his wife from a band of pirates.
Wait-Rumple tries to save his wife? If the theories about Milha and Hook are true, this may be alot more sinister than a bored housewife ditching her family-this sounds like a kidnapping!

Oh yeah, I’d forgotten about Hook. How could I possibly forget something like that? Still, I’m not entirely sure how they’re going to portray him or whether or not he’s going to be a serious villain. In all the versions I’ve seen, Hook has been more comic relief than true evil. Maybe Once will change that perception?
They could totally change that perception-and they probably will 😮

So many questions after seeing tonight’s great season premier! Here’s one: When Regina said “I love you” to Henry and he replied, “Prove it”, and demanded she find a way to rescue Snow and Emma and, until then. leave him and everyone else alone, I wondered if that will force her to avoid hurting anyone in Storybrooke (or at least appear to so long as she thinks Henry might find out what she is doing). And will Belle’s response “That’s why you need me” to Rumple’s “I’m still a monster” have the same effect in curbing Rumple’s actions? If so, both of our villains are somewhat hobbled, at least for the time being, with a difficult truce forced upon them by the people they love. Sounds to me like the perfect setup to introduce an entirely new threat that will force an uneasy alliance of Rumple, Regina, and Charming. Perhaps something related to the wraiths and/or Dr. Whale will be the big new threat? What does everyone else think?
I think this is where Hook steps in-to throw the current villains off balance from being redeemed just a little bit longer 😮

I’m guessing that in “The Thing You Love Most” Regina may not have been referring to the Aurora we saw in “Broken”. Regina only referred to “…that sleeping beauty [who] got the best of you.” Aurora’s statement about Maleficent’s conflict with her mother makes me think that the “sleeping beauty” Regina referred to may have been Aurora’s mother.
That’s Right!!! She did mention that Maleficent had come after her and her mother! That would be a neater fit to this whole story!
It would make sense for the timeline of the story. Sleeping Beauty was first referred to before the curse was cast, and the events taking place now are happening after the curse was cast, because the current Sleeping Beauty and Mulan knew about Regina and her curse. The only thing that makes sense would be that Aurora’s mother is the original Sleeping Beauty, and Maleficent has some kind of grudge against both mother and daughter-similar to Regina’s situation with Snow White and Emma.
dorothyParticipantI’m more interested in finding out why a piece of FTL was left untouched. Was it because the curse only affected specifically the people Regina held a grudge against, or was it a screw up on Rumple’s part?
dorothyParticipantThere are a few things I’m hoping the writers will do with Bae’s character. As much as I would love to see him at the end of this season crawling out of the vortex still as a 14 year old boy, I think that may not be the way the writers are planning this out.
Plus, this way Bae gets to see first-hand how his father is now, so maybe when he first comes to Storybrooke, he might have been more willing to forgive his father, but after getting to watch his father in action without Rumple knowing who Bae is, that could strengthen Bae’s resolve to never forgive his father if he sees his father got even worse.
I love this idea! Since it’s probable that he’ll be all grown up at this point in the story, I would love for the writers to lead us on thinking that Bae’s character is someone else entirely, until he sees his dad and freaks out-like tries to leave town freaking out, but decides to stay and watch instead.
I’m also one of those people who think that the real Rumple and Bae reunion won’t be a happy one. Because the fake one was such a shocker, there’s two other ways the writers could do this. One, Rumple could pass by Bae in the street without even recognizing him, making it an “unofficial reunion.” Second, they could make the real reunion even more shocking than the fake one. Like for instance, Bae stabbing his dad with the dagger.
