Wow. I haven’t been on the forums in a very long time. With the shows starting up again this week, I figured I would come here and read some news on the shows. I’m very, very disappointed to read this thread about Wonderland not doing well. I’ve been enjoying the series very much. In fact, I have been enjoying Wonderland’s first season more than the whole Neverland storyline in OUAT. I got very bored with the Neverland storyline. The same characters wandering the Neverland woods in every episode. And nothing (or hardly anything) about the other characters in Storybrooke. The actress who played Ruby/Red is now on another show (Intelligence), so we probably won’t see her character again. But I wish there was a story going on with the Storybrooke characters while the other characters were dealing with the Neverland story.
So, I’m sad to read about the poor ratings for Wonderland, and hope the characters get folded into OUAT.

edchambersParticipantThe most recent “ABC Official Video Podcast” showcases Costume Designer Eduardo Castro, and I receommend watching this video podcast. You should be able to find it by searching iTunes Store. The episode title is “Fairytale Couture”.

edchambersParticipantLast year when Grimm and Once Upon a Time were announced as up-coming shows for Fall 2011, the two shows were often compared to one another because they both appeared to be based on fairy tales.
After having watched the first seasons of both shows, it is clear they are no where near alike!
To me, Grimm is part police procedural drama with Buffy-like supernatural elements thrown in. Season One was mostly “monster-of-the-week” with some long-term story threads interwoven throughout the Season.
And it appears that Season Two (which started this past Monday night already!) may delve deeper into the bigger story and “mythology” of the show.
I enjoy Grimm, but I don’t feel it ranks as “must see TV” like Once Upon a Time!

edchambersParticipantI’ve been reading Fables for a few years now and have collected all of the Trade Paperbacks currently available. I also recommend the series to anyone who would like to see a different perspective on some of the various fairy tale characters including Snow White, the Big Bad Wolf, Old King Cole, Boy Blue, the Frog Prince, Pinocchio, Beauty and the Beast, just to name a few.

edchambersParticipantI believe we were given a tease with the mine and the sight of the glass coffin (of which, I am the Keeper!, LOL). I suspect we will eventually see more of the mines, the glass coffin, and whatever secrets lie therein.

Thanks, mia! It still seems odd to me that Granny would “forgive” so quickly, but we are all human!

edchambersParticipantWhen I first saw this scene (the party), I was rather surprised, particularly because Granny was there. If I recall correctly, near the end of the episode “Whatever Happened to Frederick”, Granny ran into Mary Margaret in the street. Granny said, “You should be ashamed of yourself.” clearly disapproving of Mary Margaret’s and David’s affair. Why would you go to a party for someone you thought was a “tramp”.

edchambersParticipantI remember looking up transcripts regularly for Lost when that show was airing. And I have found myself doing it sometimes for this show. That’s how I know when I am addicted to a show! LOL

edchambersParticipantHere’s one theory: Suppose Bae is NOT in the Storybrooke world? Perhaps he was sent to ANOTHER land “without magic”. Gold may want the curse broken so he can get to another world to find Bae. Just a speculative theory.

edchambersParticipantI’m curious about how Henry has come to believe. Other than the fact that he is a gullible child – lol!
What steps were taken to cause Mary Margaret to give Henry the book. And where did Mary Margaret get the book in the first place? I would suspect someone (August or Mr. Gold) convinced Mary Margaret to give Henry the book. If not August or Gold, then someone who received a suggestion by August or Gold (possibly Archie as a part of Henry’s therapy sessions).
