I don’t know if anyone’s thought of this… but I like the idea that he was in the coffin- that he was the random guy Cora killed instead of Archie. Of course, he wouldn’t be dead, and I doubt this actually happened, but it is something to think about. 🙂
If he somehow wasn’t wooden anymore, that could work. If he was still wooden, I am guessing Cora would have had a mere hunch it was Pinocchio. But Eddy and Adam, I believe, said that character wasn't significant at all, although we might know who he is… the point of that statement was Cora not even caring and being like “it's my first day in town, how am I to know who I killed”. But I don't think that person is anyone we know.
That is great that Eion booked a pilot – hopefully his show gets picked up – always nice to see actors we like having success. Cable shows are shorter seasons, so that likely means he’d still have time to guest star, and Eddy and Adam have always said that actors being on other shows make scheduling a bit more tough, but that doesn’t mean they can’t come back.
Also, if August if still wood, doesn’t that mean they wouldn’t need Eion on yet anyways (until he turns back into a “real boy”?). Maybe he can just record the voice elsewhere 🙂
[adrotate group="5"]eirelandParticipantPS. “metric ****tonne” has always been one of my fave phrases.
Dexter! LOL
eirelandParticipantI loved all of these 🙂 I had been watching the “Timeless” promotion since ABC posted it, because I loved both those lines so much!
I also loved “… You want to make Mary Margaret’s room an armory?” Cute moment!
eirelandParticipantMost of the folks you mentioned have kind of served their purpose and there is no reason for us to expect them to be around (we have to just assume they are there and all is fine). But I agree about the August thing. Emma cared of him (whether romantically or otherwise, she realized he was right and that she kind of screwed him by not believing him) and I CANNOT BELIEVE she hasn’t been like “ok, I’m home, I hugged my kid, got the Sheriff’s badge back, walked in on my parents being married, made some tacos, wrongfully accused someone… now I need to go find the guy who helped me!” and at least checked on him?!
Unless she totally forgot the state she left him in when she was trying to save Henry and ended up breaking the curse (which, rightfully so, a whole metric crap-tonne of stuff happened that day, and then she spent some time in another world).
I miss August!
eirelandParticipantIt has bugged me from the beginning that they are including Mulan in this series because her story (in the Disney movie) was based on events that happened in true life (the huns really existed and while the movie obviously took some liberties, the story of Mulan has existed in the Chinese culture as well). Additionally, while I love Jamie Chung and think she is doing an amazing job, she is not Chinese and I really hate when casting directors or whoever chooses who is going to play who lumps all Asians together.
IF the “Chinese” part of the story doesn’t come into play in this series, then whatever – a great actor is a great actor… however, Eddy and Adam talked about the Chinese aspect a bit in the official podcast, and the term Yaoguai means “demon” in Chinese, and Mulan talked about serving in the Emperors’ Army which resonates of the original story.
ANYWAYS… don’t mean to or intend to offend anyone (I just hate ethnic discontinuity in shows), but IF CHINA is important to the story, they should not have cast a non-Chinese actress and just hoped everyone would be like “oh, she must be Chinese cuz she is Asian” and IF China is NOT important to the story, stop putting Chinese stuff into it.eirelandParticipantMy mom just said “AND… the adult swans lose their flying feathers in the Spring around the same time as their signets are born and they don’t grow back until around the time their signets are also learning to fly” (she doesn’t know much about the show, but she does know there is an adoption/abandonment part and she says “so that means mother swans can’t leave their babies!”)
Wow, you learn something new everyday!
eirelandParticipantI have definitely thought about Ariel being in neverland for sure… ever since they brought up mermaids… but I hadn’t thought about the Pocahontas thing… but super true that there were Native Americans (I really don’t know the PC term… we say “first nations” here in Canada, don’t want to offend anyone, and Peter Pan was SUPER not PC in their old school terminology) in Peter Pan as well!
Good ideas!

I’ve heard them say countless times that Emma is the only original character
What about Henry??
Yes, that is true. Maybe they were just talking about the adults. Or maybe Henry isn’t original (and we just don’t know it yet?) But yeah, I guess they are both original as far as we know.
eirelandParticipantI think Kitsiss and Horowitz are trying to make the evil regals loose their… selves. Over this title.
The title COULD just be relating to the FTL stuff that will be (i.e. Snow’s mother is dead)…
It COULD be Cora (Queen of Hearts). I’d be okay wit that. But it seems a bit early in the season to wrap up the “big bad”?
It COULD be Regina… Just saying… 🙂I like the idea that we might see what happened to Aurora's mother. That will bring some clarity. That will also explain the whole… ages, Sleeping Beauty storyline, etc). And let us see Malificient again!
eirelandParticipantThanks Timespacer!
