Also, would Emma and MM not have mentioned that there was magic, or at least talked about the raith, when they met Lance a lot… because even discussing the raith would make Cora know there was magic, otherwise the raith never could have been there.
Also, if there wasn’t magic in Storybrooke, Emma and MM never could have gotten to FTL. So… I don’t think it is a big deal that Cora knew there was magic there.
I think she was testing if her magic worked the same way when she transported in front of Hook at the beginning, to see if it would work.
[adrotate group="5"]eirelandParticipantWhen the actors are wearing big coats like that, it is usually just filming break and they are trying to get warm, no?
eirelandParticipantI think Emma knew Regina was telling the truth and the magic countered that thought… so she trusted magic over herself. I don’t think the magic is actually impacting her intuition, but it is impacting her confidence…
She clearly put more confidence in magic than in herself in this episode.eirelandParticipantI also watched “Something borrowed” which was adorable.
eirelandParticipantI think what Emma said was in defence of how much Regina hurt Henry.
Personally, I feel Emma has been more of a mother to Henry in her “five minutes” than Regina has been all his love.
But perhaps not all his life has been like the past year or so (since he got the book?) But what MM said in the pilot makes me believe that Henry was having problems long before that (likely because his mother is evil).eirelandParticipant@Marilou wrote:
do we know when the network should say if they have a third season or not?
Sometimes it isn’t even until this season is over. The ratings have been good though and, to me, them having all these mini-marathons and stuff is definitely a good sign (especially since we watched them too!)
ABC would be absolutely {Disney friendly expletive here} crazy if they didn’t renew.
eirelandParticipantLove that spoiler, thanks for posting!
surprising connection with someone we know? any ideas anyone?
eirelandParticipantHoly Blimey Crikey and What Not !! You just made me think- the cost is Henry. Didn’t Emma say something like “This is a price we are both going to pay” and they where already debating about who gets Henry. Regina said all magic comes at a price.. then Emma said, this is a price we are both going to pay. I guess this has always been what many of us thought would happen.
But to me its clear now. I think this season is going to end with Henry gone, either dead or presumed so. Last season ended with him coming back just last minute, they wont be so lucky this time. This show has a long record of bringing back passed events several times in new ways. And this time it is going to be Emma’s magic tricks that does the deed, as opposed to Regina’s trick with the apple last season.Whoa. Yeah! Totally never thought of that. I mean, I think Emma MEANT that Henry is going to get hurt, and neither of them want Henry hurt, so they are both paying, because Henry is hurting…
But man, you bring up a good point! However…
We can always hope! I truly believe that since bringing Emma back to storybrook, Henry has served his purpose. He is now merely a point of discord between Regina and Emma. The writers don’t know what to do with him anymore and it shows… Let him die his heroic death and move along.
True.
I mean, I don’t want Henry to die, but there is a possibility there.
Also, I was just thinking during “lady of the lake” when SNow and Emma are talking in the old nursery and Emma and her finally have that connecting moment… and then Emma heads out, Snow looks back and pictures what the nursery looked like, and she is just beside herself with grief….
I think that although she LOVES Emma (now) and although she is so proud of her, Snow is so sad that she missed so much of Emma’s life.
I was talking about this with someone else and I was like “what if they ended the show… like finale finale… with them all going back to the time the curse was cast… and they all get a do-over. I mean, it would be totally redundant, but I think it will also kind of give hope… Snow and Charming will get to raise Emma, Henry won’t exist (but will in the future, perhaps, if we find out that Emma and Neal have true love and that Neal is from FTL)….
Not sure how I feel about that, but I felt the scene where Snow looks back was carefully thought out, as was her acting/reaction!
eirelandParticipantI’m having a difficult time understanding how everyone can be so up in arms about Emma saying to Reggie “he’s not your son”. Was there anything true or honourable about how Henry’s adoption came about? Would Emma have ever ended up in our world, alone and pregnant, had there not been a curse? Would Henry have gone through 10 years of his life not knowing his real mother and grandparents had there been a curse? Of course not!
Definitely agree!
eirelandParticipantThis show has barely touched legal rights. And I doubt it will.
