Also, re: Emma saying Regina is not Henry’s mother….
Mean thing to say in a normal adoption circumstance, or maybe even in this one, I agree.
However, I just want us all to remember that when Henry came to Emma, Emma didn’t want to be in his life, and nothing HENRY did could keep her there… It was Regina who kept Emma in SB by being evil, lying and hurting Henry. So, I get that Regina IS Henry’s mom TOO, but the world (ESPECIALLY the world according to this show) is not as black and white.
Both said hurtful things. Both apologized. EMMA is Henry’s mom TOO. And HENRY wants to be with Emma. Because Regina is evil. Even in real world custody cases, the parent who had the problem has to PROVE that they are taking steps to change, and it isn’t just “oh yay, you did something right for a change, here’s your kid back”… And in real life, Henry would have a say too.

I didn’t think the episode was dull, but i appreciated the slow moments for sure after the pace of the first 9!
But we do know that a big part of her believing August was him telling his story, so we know that he had to make sure she KNEW about the little boy who found her, right?
It definitely could just be newspapers. But August seems to (especially for someone who abandoned Emma) have had his hand in many parts of her life (i.e. Neal, maybe Henry, etc), so he could have more history with her that even she is not aware of.Oh, I know she doesn’t always have control, but right then, they cut right away to Cora speaking into Aurora’s heart about the message from Hook… So I was just meaning… we know that right then, Cora was controlling Aurora (probably also the ONLY way Aurora even found them… lol…. Emma’s comment “no offence but how the hay did you get here”).
I definitely think her plan was to make hook believable by killing the people, but I mean… COULD she have done that with Mulan there?
In the battle at the end of Queen of Hearts, it’s true that SNOW didn’t do much against Cora but Mulan had definitely been holding her own until then (Cora just kept shifting [blinking?] away from Mulan when she got close, but Cora never got close to hurting Mulan).
I just think Cora and Mulan have a history. Of some kind.

I keep still thinking that it is weird that Cora (as Lance) ensured that Mulan would go with Emma and Snow (at first I was like “oh she probably just as Mulan’s heart” but then why take Aurora’s) and then I decided “maybe it was because Mulan had the sword that could fight Cora, and Cora is kind of afraid of her, so to massacre the sanctuary, she needed Mulan to be elsewhere…However, at the end of “Into the Deep”, Aurora stops Snow from killing Mulan, so I was kind of wondering if there is more to that (Aurora does it, but then it cuts right away to Cora using her heart as a walkie talkie…). You’d think if Cora was afraid of Mulan or wanted to weaken Snow and Emma, she would have waited to present Aurora to them until after Mulan was dead… unless she was just watching until she made Aurora give her the “message” from Hook… ?

When Mr. Gold is describing the fiery room from the sleeping curse, he is talking about the soul being transported to another realm….
Cora describes the EXACT SAME THING when she is talking about what happens when the Raith (sp?) takes the soul…David screwed up the whole “other realm” by breaking through the ceiling of the fiery room to get to Snow… so I am wondering if THAT could come into play as well? During Aurora’s journey to find Philip I mean.

I still don’t think they are going to KILL her though. Charming has always said they wouldn’t and has stopped Snow from doing so. 😉
True, she could have been on her own. I don’t remember the wording. But she didn’t change her name or anything, so I’d think perhaps she just got out of the system.
Yes, the article is placed when Emma was a baby, but I would doubt she would have found it then… she likely found it later when she was looking for her parents, so August could have planted yet?
Or, it is just a true article from her file or something.
