ParticipantDon’t think he really is much of a gentleman. He ripped Aurora’s heart out, was going to kill Belle, and the sword scene with Emma…well, those are not the words of a gentleman. 🙂
Don’t get me wrong–him doing all those things makes him a great villain for the story, and his character does add some much needed conflict. Now than Regina and Rumpelstiltskin are trying their hands at becoming good people, the show will need some characters to be bad.
Plus, now that all the characters have returned to Storybrooke, things will get more interesting. It will be fascinating to see how Captain Hook reacts to all the other characters.
Notsure if Emma will team up with him to help him with Rumpelstiltskin. Granted she does not like the latter, but so far they have a sort of respect for each other. And as much as Emma may not like him, I doubt she would help Captain Hook. He has already been teamed up with Cora before.

ParticipantShe is saddened that she and Henry have a wall, that she cannot reach him in ways that others can. 🙂
She looks at Snow White and Prince Charming, when Snow White got to him and kissed him awake, and looked angry. She leered at Belle at the diner, trying to intimidate her. These have not shown that she feels guilty for what she has not. She is doing all this to please Henry.

ParticipantOne of the facotrs of redemption is remorse. Sorry to say it, but I have yet to see Regina actually feel remorse for what she has done. She killed Graham, seperated Hansel and Gretal from their father, locked Belle up, and had repeatedly gone after Prince Charming and Snow White. Pretty sure that in their world, she would end up in prison or executed for her actions.
The whole Charming family has stood up for her, protected her when she needed it–not once did she thank Emma, Snow White, and Prince Charming for their actions in rescuing her. Instead, she treats them with scorn and contempt, while still expecting them to invite her into their lives.
What she has done was nice, but all she did was repay them for what they had done. If it had not been for them, her soul would have been sucked.

ParticipantDon’t think they mean that he is dead. Since it was a makeup artist they might be that he has finished with his makeup. Or maybe he finished filing a few scenes and didn’t have to be on set at the moment. 🙂 There are a ton of explanations for it. Think he is going to be around for a while.

ParticipantI agree with Schmacky. And I have to add that they have been good to Regina, and she has shown no appreciation for what they have gone through for her. They didn’t have to interfere with the mob–of course they would, but they did not owe her anything. And yet they did. Henry was th one that insisted, but the particualr way of Regina and Emma standing up for Regina was kind of them. 🙂
And then when the wraith comes up, Prince Charming, Snow White, and Emma all gather to protect Regina, resulting in Emma and Snow White falling into the portal. Regina shows no sympathy or remorse for what happened to them.

ParticipantThe only reason why they saved her from the wraith was because of Henry. 🙂 He wanted Regina spared–he didn’t want her to die. Prince Charming was willing to let her get killed before. And Emma had made a promise to Henry.
Prince Charming allowed Regina to watch Henry was because he trusted her with Henry. He knew she would not ever intentionally hurt Henry. She proved that when she let Henry go back to Prince Charming. After she had kidnapped Henry in the first place and realized how horrible she had been to him.
And even if they get along, I doubt the Charming family (except Henry) will ever trul be 100% friendly with her. They will be civil for Henry’s sake, but they can never forgive how she had tried to kill them numerous times. And can you honestly blame them.

ParticipantI think he wanted to help Emma. He may hav seen how desperate she was when she came, and nor would he want her as an enemy when he got to Storybrooke. He migt try to use that to his advantage. 🙂

ParticipantI agree that the story is about hope, good vs. evil, love, redemption, and forgiveness. But it can be dark–Regina killing her father, Red Riding Hood eating her boyfriend, Graham’s death, when Red Riding Hood was forced to kill her mother, Captain Hook’s journey to revenge, and other storylines/characters. But that makes the show great. 🙂

ParticipantEmma was relieved that she was still her–that her choices have been her own and not Rumpelstiltskin making her make these choices. That was what she was scared of. She still doesn’t seem to like him or trust him much–she has to do her favor because she owes him. She has no choice.

ParticipantNot to sound cold, but look at the amount of characters on this show for starters. There is just so much, a good portion of them have not done much. Plus, this show is supposed to be dark. People get hurt. Locked up. Killed. It is going to happen. There are battles being fought, people fighting one another, people going on quests for revenge. It is going to happen.
