August/Pinocchio did not send the money. Eddy and Adam confirmed in the podcast interview, and Jane Espenson confirmed it on another interview. 🙂 Plus, even if they hadn’t, it was still pretty obvious that he did take the money–the way he looked at the money, the manner in which he pocketed it. He took the money, that much is clear. The address of the envelope that sent Emma that keys was Phukett–pleasure island. 🙂

I think that is the problem with many of the episodes. The story is great, but always rushed. The writers try to fit too much in one episode, and it ends up not feeling as effective as it could have been had they stretched it out to two or three episodes. 🙂

This episode is one of my favorites given that much time went to Neal and Emma, both of whom were just wonderful together. They both are accepting of one another, and both kept each other alive and safe, while still maintaining a playfulness with each other.

The other couples are great, but these two just had a natural, loving, playful feeling. The angst between them wasn’t about them themselves–it was about Emma’s role in the curse. I think that is why I love them and think about them a bit more than of Belle and Rumpelstiltskin. They both of people that are damaged and want love, and when they find that love, they hold onto it. 🙂

Belle didn’t leave just because he was spinning gold. She left because he wasn’t honest. 🙂 He has never told her about why he needed magic and what he intends to do. He keeps her in the dark due to shame and trust issues, I think. She told him he needed courage to let him in–all she wanted was answers.

But I do agree the breakup happened a bit too quickly–I would have liked Belle to know about what happened to her father and why her posters didn’t work. That would have created a really interesting setting as to whether or not she can forgive him and move past it and all. Though I think that is mostly due to limited screen time–they only have about 45 minutes for a story.

Robert and MRJ would be great! Seriously, this show has some of the best cast on television. 🙂 I’ve liked MRJ since True Blood–a lot of people thought he would be horrible and went on because they thought he was unattractive. I don’t see how he unattractive, but to each their own. 🙂

Whether or not he is Baelfire, I want him and Emma to be together. I am a bit more supportive of the idea simply from some of the clues in this episode, and how similar he does seem a bit to Rumpelstiltskin in the way how he and Emma met–his little comment to the name and how much he looks like Rumpelstiltskin.

I really do love Belle and Rumpelstiltskin together, I just think they are a bit overated. I know this is an unpopular opinion considering how popular they are and all. 🙂 I mostly go after Rumpelstiltskin because he keeps using the same excues–I am a coward. Yet he makes no attempt to change.

But I mostly go for Emma and Neal simply for how they interected–it was on such a natural way. They loved each other for who they were–I am sure they had their moments when they argued, but they were accepting of one another, and protected one another.

I haven’t been a big supporter of Baelfire being Henry’s father–I still don’t really understand the huge appeal of it–but this episode made me realize that even if he is, I wouldn’t mind it. 🙂 So long as the two of them get back together and talk about what happened. 🙂

Also, I do agree–that their relationship was, in many ways, better than Belle and Rumpelstiltskin. 🙂

He was that wonderful in Tallahasse . 🙂 I honestly cannot wait to see more of him–him and Emma must be! He sold me for Neal with the chemistry he and Jennifer orrison had 😀

I agree. 🙂 I never once thought she was angry with them in the episode. She was hurt, upset, confused, overwhelmed, and worried. Don’t forget, she had a lot on her plate–she just found out who her parents were, she just had broken the curse, fought a dragon, realized that Henry was telling the truth, determind to find out what Rumpelstiltskin did to the town, and sort out the instanity going on in the town.

Not once did she say, I hate you because you abandoned me. Emma is the kind of the person who is not afraid to voice out her opinion often. 🙂 When she hates or dislikes someone, she lets the people know that she hates them–Regina and Mr. Gold are prime examples given how she talked to them and how little she trusts them.

And as much as I like Regina, she has shown to be immature in her own way. She takes her hatred out on a child–the circumstances are understandable, but still. She revenged herself on a whole town of people who have never truly hurt her, and has killed when people left her or turned against her. Graham being a great example.

Sorry, I probably misunderstood. 😳 I tend to do that at times.

    @Schmacky

I agree with much of what you have written. Emma has forgiven her parents. The episode, The Lady of the Lake showed how she was angry at her parents for a long time–I think she always believed that they abandoned her because they simply did not want her, so that when she saw them again, she could not help but autoatically still feel that old resentment bubble a bit. She needed time to accept that what she thought she knew was farthest from the truth.

And when she sees her room, how beautiful it once was, how there was care to haw all her toys and crib were arranged, it touched her. She saw how loved and wanted she was.

And Emma will probably always have issues–pain never fully goes away. You can forgive and accept, but it is hard to forget. Emma suffered for years just as much as all the other characters on the show–we may not see much of it, and she may not talk about it often, but the pain is there. The few times she lets her walls down prove it.
