ParticipantCaptain Hook seems pretty confident that he has a way. Remember, he promised Rumpelstiltskin that he would find a way to kill him, that he wouldn’t stop. He went to Neverland so that he would have all the time in the world to search and plan. He has been planning this for centuries.
I doubt he would suddenly want to combat without some plan ready to be enacted. Plus, I don’t think he and Cora are close–they only are using each other to find a way back to Storybrooke. 🙂

ParticipantRegina would never kill Henry. Archie himself said that she could hurt anyone but Henry. Regina loved her father, but he had never been brave enough to stand up for her when her mother abused her, nor did her give her any of the comfort or sympathy she had wanted–Regina was resentful of him.

ParticipantWhen Henry came, Emma thought the best thing for Henry would be for him to go back to regina–twice she did so, all for Henry. It is only when she notices how controlling and possessive she is, as well as how miserable Henry is, that she decides to stay in Storybrooke. And even then, she was still planning on leaving–Regina purposesly tricked Henry into listening to the conversation between her and Emma about how the latter thought the curse was crazy.
Yes Regina loves Henry, but many of her actions have resulted in hurting him, and Emma could see that. That was one of the reasons why she stayed.
And I think she also stayed because of Mary Margaret–the latter helped her to find the courage to be there for Emma, she bailed Emma out of jail, and she provided a home for her, asking for nothing in return. 🙂 These acts of kindess, of being wanted, were what inspired her to stay, also.
And then when Graham died, and when Henry gave up hope and claimed that good never wins, Emma stayed to show him that good can win. She wanted to show him that and also to be his hero 🙂

ParticipantTo be clear, I do think that Regina loves Henry in her own way. But it is pretty clear from her actions in season 1 that she was not a good parent–she may have given Henry toys and a house and all that, but he lived in fear of her. He knew of her actions as the Evil Queen, knew what she did to all Storybrooke, and knew that she only made him go to therepy to make it seem like he was making the whole thing up. He said so himself that she made him feel like he was crazy, and she convinced everyone in Storybrooke that he was suffering a delusion.
Archie even said that she was harsh on him, and the reason Emma stayed was due to the fact that Henry sought her out, and Emma saw how unhappy Henry was. That was why she invesitgated with Archie and read the files–she wanted to try to learn why and how he could be helped. She admited to Regina that she gave Henry up because she wanted him to have a good life, and that she was not in town to take him back. All she wanted was to make sure that he was okay.

To be fair, Emma did not want to get involved in Henry’s life because she did not think she was good or him–she had good intentions for him. She only got involved when she saw how Regina could be harsh to him–and she could be. 🙂
And Emma has never put Henry in danger–I honestly cannot recall any scene where she endangered his life or hurt his feelings, other than trying to take him out of Storybrooke. 🙂 Regina tricked Emma into saying how crazy she felt the curse was in front of Henry hurting his feelings. She got Archie to tell Henry that his claim was crazy and a delusion, which also hurt his feelings. He said so himself that she made him feel crazy. She kiled Graham, causing Henry to feel fear and guilt over the Graham’s death, along with thinking that Emma could be in danger.

ParticipantA lot has happened to Emma for season 2. 🙂
1). How will Emma react to Regina’s change? Will she believe it, or will she not trust her?
2). Her dad being Sheriff–will they bond over it? Will she let him help her? Will they spend time?
3). Emma and her mom are spending more and more time, but they have yet to actually talk about Emma’s past. What kind reactions will come from her parents when they learn of her past and about Neal?
4). How would she react to Neal? To Pinocchio when she learns what he did?elle
ParticipantOne of the points of the tale is that the Beauty is able to show the humanity side of the Beast, to show the good in him. 🙂 While there are a lot of problems with the relationship (trust issues and all, though they are both working on that) it isn’t as bad as it seems. The only time he was horrible to her was when he thought she had betrayed him–he needed a way to find his son, and he knows that Regina wants to be more powerful than him. He does have enemies, and so he assumed that Regina had gotten to Belle and turned her against him. It doesn’t jusitfy what he did–he should have talked to her!
And Belle herself was never truly angered–she was disappointed in him, and I think she always knew that he loved her. 🙂 And so she sees him, and remembers how he had embraced her in the shop, and realized that he finally admitted to himself that he loves her, and I think that showed her how much he regretted what he had done, and that was what helped her to forgive him and admit her love.
Are they like Snow White and Prince Charming? No Thos.e two have complete trust, faith, and understanding of one another. They have gone through much for each other–fighting for one another, and talking. But the two of them could be on their way there.

ParticipantThere is also the fact how Henry would react to him–he may not really be that excited by the idea. He already has a shaky relationship with Regina as is, it might be difficult for him to get close Rumpelstiltskin with trust.
He does not fully trust Rumpelstiltskin–he warned Emma not to owe him anymore favors, and he always appeared uncomfortable around him. In recent episodes he seems alright in his prescence, but it might be hard for him to get close to him.

ParticipantI think they main gift Neal wants is going to make it up to Henry. It is not his fault of course (he did not know about Henry) but he wasn’t there for him, he never got the chance to be a father and help him, keep him safe. If he is Baelfire, this will be hard for him–he was seperated from a father who chose power over him, like he was let down by his father, he will feel as though he let Henry down. He may feel as though he abandoned him.

ParticipantAfter rewatching some of August’s scenes in season 1, the amount of pity I had for him decreased by a large amount. The way he talks to Emma when he first sees her–purposesly acting mysterious to get her suspicious, flirting/almost mocking her…maybe he was trying to get her to believe, but the way he went about it was belittling. She is a grown woman, struggling to keep up with Regina in Storybrooke, and yet he just makes it all the more difficult for her to trust him.
And then he finally revelas himself, after he talks about how he failed, it sort of was like too little too late. He had his chance to really make a good first impression, to try to befriend her. Yes he helped her find evidence against Regina, and their relationship is a good one, but the way he still acted around her still seemed much.
