    I doubt he would know Henry (if he is the grandfather) is his grandson–he allowed him to eat the apple and get cursed, and now is allowing him to get tormented in his sleep. Granted, Henry will get a chance to be a hero and help the people he loves, but he will probably be put in danger. Also, he allowed Henry to live with Regina–again, he knew Regina would never hurt Henry, but he saw how destructive she can be. Wit the way he truly loves and cares about Baelfire, he would do all that he can to keep Henry from harm.

    If he indeed knows that Henry is his grandson, then he seriously needs to work on how a grandfather should be.

    I don’t really think that she really has any ability. And despite seeing the good in people, she clearly misses the bad–Rumpelstiltkin has still lied to her numerous times, and hid the posters that she made of her father. The only ability she really has is being tied up–sorry if that sounds cruel, but this is the fourth time that she was chained up or locked up, either because she was pawn or because it was for her own good.

    🙂 I don’t think it he has any ulterior motive for helping Henry. 🙂

    He has manipulated all the adults in the series, has only been on his own side, done all he has done for power, for his son and for Belle. But he has always seemed truly fond and kind towards Henry, even when the latter was obviously uncomfortable and untrusting of him.

    He continuely is all kind smiles, polite, honest, and open (to an extent, and more so than with others) with him. Episodes 4, 8, 16, 19, and 22 of season one are key episodes that show how fond he is of Henry.

    Much of this is because Henry must remind Him of Baelfire–both are brave, devoted, determined, and well-behaved and respectful children. They both even look a bit alike. I think he also has a great amount of respect for Henry–the latter is one of th smartest people on the show. He was the one in season one who could indentify who was who in Storybrooke, he was the one to help Emma be able to help them, he was able to keep Emma in Storybrooke, and he knew to not trust Mr. Gold/Rumpelstiltskin and g to him for help. He kept his distance from the man, and rarely went to him for help–this weeks episode being the first time. 🙂

    This was a really good episode! 🙂

    My Least Favorite Moments–The last scene with Emma, Snow White, Mulan, and Princess Aurora. It really wasn’t needed–they could have moved that scene to the next episode, I think. Also, Billy’s death–not dying, but how little we knew of him. He was a good character, but I wish they had given him more time on the show.

    My Favorite Moments–Granny with the crossbow, threatening to shoot King George between the eyes, as well as her little line about how suprer hearing isn’t really great when you run a hotel. 😆 Red Riding Hood and Snow White together–their friendship is wonderful. Mr. Gold giving Henry the necklace for free–I think this is another sign of their connection together, and seeing Regina ask Mr. Gold for help shows how much she loves Henry. Prince Charming and Ruby were wonderful together–how he was protective of him, and how she reacted with him. 🙂 Also, Red Riding Hood saving Snow White from her mother–it heartbreaking that she had to kill her mother, though.

    I think this does support–first they have Henry’s name, Balefire picture, Emma’s forshadowing picture–all this shows how connected Emma and Neal are truly. 🙂 I had been against both Neal being Baelfire and the father of Henry, but afer seeing this episode, it would be great, I think. I also like how the writers still kept forshadowed how Emma is with Cinderella in episode 4 of season 1.

    Especially after seeing this episode I jumped on the NealxEmma couple–they understood and cared for one another. Neal didn’t use Emma because she was the Savior (August and Rumpelstiltskin), he didn’t want her because of magic (Mad Hatter/Jefferson), he wanted her because of her. 🙂

    @Lil’Red

    I agree that he is filled with a lot of guilt–he has thought of Emma for ten years, wondered if she was okay, of what she thought of him, and if August was able to truly look after her. He knew she had a job to do–she still does–and he probably spent nights wondering if she survived.

    He certainly looked shocked and afraid when he got the postcard–he fears her reaction. He fears that perhaps she will never forgive him, or that she moved on with someone else and forogt all about him.

    If he is Baelfire, I think he also fears seeing his father–he witnessed his father kill people, felt resentment and anger towards being abandoned, and now knows what his father has done to get to this world. i don’t think he wants to see him for a long time.

    Oh gosh you have a great eye! Awesome to notice all that–it looks like the writers are basically screaming that Neal really is Baelfire! 🙂

    @obisgirl

    I think that is possible, too. The place where he lives does not look like it costs a lot of money, unless he is careful with how he spends his money so as not to get suspicion. If he is a thief still, he would have to be even more careful–he is still a wanted man. 🙂

    I doubt Neal orchestrated all this–I think he and August may have stayed in contact a bit. August knew where to send the postcard. But I doubt Neal would do that to Emma (he loves her too much) nor his son, if he even knows about Henry, which is doubtful.

    As for Neal’s lifestyle, it looked rather lonely–his bedroom is certainly full of object (including the dreamcatcher Emma had shown him) that perhaps remind him of the past and remind him of the good times he had. 🙂 The way he entered his room reminded me a bit of how Emma entered her apartment in the pilot after her ‘date.’ She entered the place and left her shoes in the hall because no one would be bothered. The same with Neal–he just dumped his stuff, and both of them looked so lonely.
