ParticipantHe seemed very much like a bond villain–he spoke in a polite manner, yet he said hurtful things. He walked with a light strut and held himself high. He dressed well for a pirate, and seemed to have a strange sense of honor–he offered Rumpelstiltskin a sword for a proper duel, and he spared his life when he coul have killed him, along with being ready and willing to die when Rumpelstiltskin defeated him in the duel.
Overall, I didn’t think he was that bad. He seemed like a sophisticated bully., whos only redeeming quality was the light amount of honor he had, the manners, and the love he had for Milah. 🙂 I think he honestly loved her–he lied to protect her, tried to save her life when Rumpelstiltskin pulled her heart out of her chest, and mourned when she died, as well as swearing vengeance.
I actually thought Rumpelstiltskin was the true evil one in this episode–he made sure that Belle’s posters were not seen, interfering with her intentions of finding her father. I know what Maurice did was wrong, but Belle had a right to see her father if she wished. Also, the way he killed his wife was disturbing–yes what she did was horrible, but he had no right or justification, nor has he shown any true remorse.
Not–sorry that I posted this somewhere by mistake. Really sorry.

ParticipantI saw him as Peter Pan when he cut Hook’s hand off. It would’ve been a bit better (at least I think 😉 ) if Peter Pan had been the one to cut Hook’s hand off. I know it would’ve been hard to fit Peter Pan in the episode, but I just couldn’t help but feel that Peter Pan should have been the one to do that.

ParticipantLeast Favorite Moments/Aspects: I missed Snow White, Emma, Mulan, and Aurora. I have gotten attached to the last two, so not seeing was a bit sad, though I knew it would happen. Also, I might be alone here, but Rumpelstiltskin being Peter Pan let me down–he has already been the Fairy Godmother for Cinderella and the Beast from Beauty and the Beast. It is starting to be a bit much.
Also, losing a bit of sympathy for Rumpelstiltskin. I know he was hurt from Milha’s rejection, but it did not give him any reason to kill her. She was willing to give him the bean in exchange for peace. Yes she hurt him and left Baelfire, but if he had swallowed his pride and taken the bean, then he never would have been tricked.
Favorite Moments/Aspects: Loved how Prince Charming was both sympathetic to Rumpelstiltskin, and still stern with him. He was also a pretty good sheriff–able to figure out pretty quickly where Belle was. Red Riding Hood and Belle were very sweet together, and I hope to see more of that. Also enjoyed seeing Belle stan up for herself, and her and Rumpelstiltskin reconciling was sweet. Hook was pretty cool, but still hope to see more before I get a real good idea of him. The actor was good, though. 🙂 The dream aspect was good to see–it shows that Belle is under no illusion who he is.

ParticipantStill not sure if she will get to Storybrooke….she has her powers, and the little bit of magic left in the wardrobe, but I have a feeling it won’t be as easy, and that Cora will need more than that….still, she is probably going to be one of the villains of season 2, so she could make it to Storybrook.
If she does make it to Storybrooke, she might make Henry–in Regina’s eyes–like a young Snow White and seemingly make him do something that even Regina could never forgive him for–I doubt that it is possible, but you never know. She will want to be in control–I think she will go after Prince Charming, Red Riding Hood, Rumpelstiltskin, and the Dwarves and anyone that will be against her.
The way she spoke of Regina made me think both of longing and revenge–there might certainly be both love and hate in her for Regina. She may teach Regina a bit of a lesson, but I think she also still wants to be with her daughter. And I have a feeling that she will include Henry in that plan.

ParticipantThis is so awesome–Love your costume! Looks extremely close to Red Riding Hood–the gloves look just like the ones she wears. 😀
Looked like so much fun–I hope it was. 🙂

ParticipantNow that there are more new characters, it will be impossible for all of them to be in an episode at the same time, keeping them in character, and keeping their story arc important. 🙂 If every single character appeared in every single episode, it would become boring after a while, as well as feeling too crowded with still introducing all the new ones.
Red Riding Hood, Belle, the dwarves, and Jiminy all seem to be getting a bit more attention this season in Storybrooke, and that is awesome to see, I think. As well as seeing how Prince Charming and Henry are bonding and how Prince Charming will be keeping the town in check.
Emma and Snow white in Fairytale Land is a great opportunity for the two of them to bond.

ParticipantEach character has their own wants/needs/arcs this season. 🙂
1). Regina is trying her hands at redemption.
2). Henry and Prince Charming are looking for Snow White and Emma, along with keeping the town in check.
3). Rumpelstiltskin is looking for Baelfire and trying to keep Belle.
4). Gepetto will probably still be looking for Pinocchio.
5). Snow White and Emma will be trying to find a portal back to their family.
6). This new mysterious man (Henry’s father? Baelfire? Peter Pan? Person that wrote the book? More than one of these options?) will also have his own goal, probably.
7). And the rest of the Storybrook–Archie, Red Riding Hood, Blue Fairy, and etc will be trying to either help keep order in the town in order. You can’t fit all of this in an episode every Sunday. So some characters will be more prominent than others in an episode.

ParticipantI do understand that, Lil’red. But just because he has shown to be sympathetic to her, does not mean he suddenly trusts her. He wanted her spared, I think, because he does believe her when she told him that she loved him, but he still is wary. He saw her almost killed his grandfather in front of him, and then she forced him to come with her or see his friends all killed. She says sorry afterwards, but it could be that he still fears that she could suddenly change.
