I was a bit sad that Sebation Stan, Robert Caryle, nor Lana Parrilla were even nominated. Although I kinda figured that they wouldn’t win or get even considered for the Emmy’s. A lof of great actors have not gotten the nomination that they deserve.
[adrotate group="5"]The two of them are certainly going to stay together and not break up. They are each other’s True Love. Things will be difficult–their relationship with Emma will cause some problems because she will be feeling resentful and uncomfortable about the whole thing. Not to mention they missed so much–they never really got to be parents to Emma. That chance was taken from them, and it is too late for them to be able to spend time with Emma as if she were a child.
But the strain they will have now will probably mirror the ones they will have when they do go to take back the kingdom. This will probably be the time when Prince Charming finds out what Snow White did to the Queen, and Snow White will probably find out more about Prince Charming’s background.
There will be strain–True Love is something that must be fought for, and I agree that he will feel like he has to prove himself to his family, especially with what happened when he was David. I think both he and Snow are also going to have a hard time getting close to Emma–that will probably cause some fights between the whole family.
I think the facts of Emma and Henry’s father will also be a problem for them to overcome–they both will want to know who fathered their grandchild, and what kind of relationship him and Emma had. Emma never told Mary Margaret the whole story, and if they both try to get answers out of Emma, she may lash out.
Everyone in Storybrook is going to have two parts to them–their orginial Fairytale selves, and the Storybrook version that was created 28 years ago. All of them will have their old memories and the fake ones, the old views and the new ones of the Storybrook world.
But everyone in Storybrook also seems to be a bit old-fashioned. When Mary Margaret was revealed to be having an affair with David, everyone in town shunned her, gossiped about her, and were outright cruel to her for weeks. Ruby is known to dress up in revealing clothing, and she recieves snapping remarks from her grandmother. Yet when Emma came into town, and she admitted the few details she was willing to talk about to Mary Margaret, she recieved not harsh judgement from the latter.
But not only are we going to get a darker Belle, I think we will probably get a lot of the other becoming darker, more vengeful of what they had gone through. All of them have just cause to go after Regina because she changed them, made act in a way they would not have, made them do things they would not have.
I had heard in an interview that they would explore more of Emma’s past–I may have heard wrong.
I suppose Baelfire being the father would be a great connection. But they would really have to explain how they would meet and the circumstances of the seperation. Emma may at times be guilty of poor judgement, but if there is one thing that is certain, it is how protective she is of Henry. Everything that she has done has always been for Henry, so if she did not tell Henry’s father about her being pregnant, it was because she felt it was in Henry’s best interest.
Granted, it very well could have been a misunderstanding.
There were a good amount of people that did think August was Balefire–some of them are kinda in denial. 😆
I don’t like the idea of Rumpelstiltskin being Henry’s grandfather, either. I really do like him as a character and all, but I just don’t want him having anymore cause to hang around Emma, nor do I think she will appreciate it. He already has prescence in her life seeing as how she is the savior and he made the curse, not to mention she still owes him a favor.
They did mention we would see more of Emma’s past as a child, and that her foster would appear–don’t think they will have a big role. Just to give more about Emma’s past.
That might not necessarily mean Baelfire. When August first showed, everyone had different theories as to who he might be–the majority were Baelfire, and the writers seemed to tease that for the viewers until the last moment when it was revealed that he wasn’t. The same could be said in this instance. And also, the writers mentioned that Emma’s foster parents would appear in an episode. They aren’t going to be of huge importance to the plot–probably for Emma’s character, to learn more about her past. The father of Henry could be the same use, just for the audiance to learn more about Emma.
This is a series that deals with magic, but the odds just seem too much. If they were to go in that direction and make it that Baelfire was Henry’s father, it would have to be explained fully, as to how the savior would meet the son of Rumpelstiltskin. It would be understandable if Henry’s father were an important character, but how Baelfire and Emma would meet just seems too perfect–all the characters being nicely connected because they happy to be in love with one person.
And also, I don’t like the idea of Rumpelstiltskin being Henry’s grandfather. I do like his character and all, but I just have a feeling that he would be try to be controlling.
That is one of the things I’m looking forward to. 😀 A lot of bashing had been brought on Emma (and some of it is understandable) but most of it is due that she does not know what kind of environment she is in–the reason why Mr. Gold/Rumpelstiltskin and Regina/Evil Queen are the ones in control. Granted, I don’t think Emma is going to have an easy time–she has a lot to learn, and she may need to make a few allies other than her parents, the dwarfs, Red, etc. But I really think she’s already taken a great step in believing, though I also can’t help but think she will resist her role somewhat.
That is awesome news–here’s hoping that they will explore more of the relationship between young Snow White and Regina. 😀
I agree. After all the events of finale, Emma is going to have to go over everything that happened, including Graham’s death.
