Participant@callmeLola – ah I see. I missed all that. š I’m still hoping it’s a red herring.

ParticipantMy personal opinion is that Killian should keep his hook. Its who he is now and losing it would change his whole characters persona. The clothing change I donāt mind so much but Hooks not Hook without his āattachmentā
Spoilering all of this just in case. (if i can get it to work…)
I agree. I don’t want him to lose his hook. Perhaps he might get it back for an episode and then lose it again. Or it’s a flashback to before he was Captain Hook – that’s technically getting his hand back. But who’s to say that the Snow & Charming thing isn’t true? Alternate universe? Lost their memories again? Who knows? I think that would be kind of fun and very unexpected if they divorced. Perhaps A&E actually didn’t give any truths. They’re very big on the no spoilers and Hook getting his hand back is a pretty big spoiler I would have thoughtIf one is to engage with the primordial forces of darkness, one must expect a little social awkwardness

ParticipantSo the entertainment? I think it sounds like something-men, but you could be right.
Well if he does say ‘caberet’ I took it to mean, a little bit of everything. Light, dark, everything in between.
It kind of felt like the panel was rather lack luster this year- think they just wanted to play things very, very safe- I noticed how A&E jumped in before Emily said to much about Rumbelle & they seemed to stare clear of most of the relationship stuff- which makes for limited talking given itās #nospoilers with A&E
But I think as someone else mentioned pages ago, this show is all about hope & love in all its forms, so relationships of all kinds are a big part of it. Iām super glad the septic brigade didnt come out to whine though
Agreed, although Jen and Colin were very adorable. But yes, I’m glad too the septic brigade stayed away. I was waiting and waiting for something to go bad, but it all seemed rather friendly.

ParticipantSo if anyone can make out what Colin sayās Hook āisā after he says āOn this show āheās not an all out villainā, please share as I cant figure it out lol.
It sounds like he says “He’s a caberet.” I had a few listens this afternoon and still not sure.

ParticipantJust a slight deviation, but does it mean I’m watching too much OUAT when I can recognise the ship they use for the HMS Inteceptor in Pirates of the Caribbean as the same one they used for the Jolly Roger? š

ParticipantThe āWhen I win your heart, it will be because you want meā. āIf itās broken it means it still worksā. Killy wiping Emmaās tears away & the CS coconut scene all rank highly for me as well, so does the āYour hand itās hurt, let me see; itās fine; No itās not; Oh so now youāre a gentleman; Iām always a gentlemanā moment- the E22 kiss is up there as well, but that includes the āyou are a hero Swan; you are too Killianā¦ā bitā¦. I also love the hospital āsmileā scene too
This is why I couldn’t pick my favourite moment, b/c they have so many little moments. The cononut! I love the coconut and definitely the hand-bandaging. How that woman did not just melt at his feet when he did that is beyond me š And it took me a while to notice this particular one, but when Hook is ‘rescuing’ Emma from the Queen’s cells, he gives her such a look of pride that she resuced herself – so sweet! It’s just everything about them! They work so well together – Hook was right, they do make a great team – and that’s probably down to the actors as well.
What would everyone else like to see happen in the way of plot for Cs in particular?– doesnt have to be romantic either- I know I want to see more of them working together & at having those walls of theirās down around each other
I think I’d like to see Emma fighting for Killian in some way. Killian has proved time and time again how much he loves her and is willing to stand by her, I think it would be nice if Emma returned the favour.
Can’t wait to wake up tomorrow to all the Oncey goodness from SDCC. š

ParticipantI’m not going to weigh into the SQ thing, there’s nothing really I can add to the discussion. Everything I want to say has already been said, and probably more eloquently than I could ever say it.
So I had some free time the past few evenings to watch some CS to see if I could narrow down my favourite moment. And have come to the conclusion that I can’t. What I have discovered is that I enjoy what *isn’t* said between them. All through their relationship (and I don’t mean that in a romantic sense) they say so much with their looks, and most notably in Quiet Minds.
Even if you don’t romantically ship CS, people must see they have a very strong friendship, especially in 3B. They speak their minds to each other, they are there to support one other. Not every conversation between them has romantic overtones. Hook does have a very good way with words that you can see Emma melt sometimes. There seems to be a switch he can flick, that if Emma is upset or annoyed, he can say the right thing and her eyes soften, she almost becomes a different person.
Even though we know exactly how Hook feels about Emma (and you could almost think that he realises he might never win her love – esp by The Jolly Roger when he admits to his own broken heart) he is still there to help her, to support her and her family. I think I would have been quite happy had Emma and Hook not hooked up by the end of the final, b/c I enjoy their friendship so much. So every moment between them, be it romantic, sarcastic, snarky, friendly, etc I love. It’s such a deep affection for each other.
I know people got a bit annoyed that it *had* to be Emma’s “love interest” that travelled to the past with her. But really it was her closest friend who travelled with her, does it matter that that friend happens to be male? I don’t think her parents even know her as well as Hook does. She shares so much with him.
So yeah, I definitely can’t narrow down a favourite… however, and this could just be the way it’s shot, but their “if it can be broken, it means it still works” conversation in The Tower is beautiful – the soft blue light, the snow, their looks *sighs* (and again, a very significant look between them before Emma walks off, but Hook collects himself and continues to stand by her)Ā I can’t wait to see where they go in S4. And if the first lot of BTS photos is anything to go by, it’s looking good.

ParticipantEven though Marian wasn’t executed in the new timeline, everything else stayed the same. Marian was still captured for helping Snow White, she still was sentenced to death. Marian even said to Emma “my family already think I’m dead” so regardless of the fact she escaped her execution Regina still would have had the memory of her minions executing all prisoners in the cells and since Marian wasn’t in the cells, Regina would assume Marian (and disguised Emma) was killed with everyone else. Robin still has the sense of loss of his wife. Regina obviously didn’t know it was Robin’s wife she ordered to execute, but perhaps would have realised once Marian showed up in Storybrooke – if Regina had some sort of recollection of this particular peasant. So for all intents and purposes Marian was still ‘executed’ (taken out of her own time) in the new timeline and yes Regina should still be responsible for that. Let’s not forget Regina was laughing quite heartily at Marian’s plea for help and that was before Emma stuffed up the timeline. In both timelines Regina’s intention to execute Marian didn’t change, regardless of the fact Marian didn’t die in the altered timeline.
However for example, if Neal didn’t abandon Emma to a prison sentence in an altered timeline, then no he wouldn’t be accountable for his actions in the previous timeline. It was Neal’s choice to leave her (with some prompting from August). Neal could have said “no, I’m not leaving Emma” or went to jail instead of her, that IMO would erase his previous timeline because his intention had changed.
Now had Emma and Hook’s interference caused Regina to rethink her execution order, have a change of heart and let Marian go then I would say no, she doesn’t deserved to be judged on a previous timeline actions (in that particular instance), because her intent would have changed.

Favourite CS moment? Wow, that is difficult. there are so many. I guess I’ll just have to do a rewatch as well š That’s my weekend sorted then.

ParticipantI’ve been lurking on the forum for the past week (during my holiday) and it’s been lovely waking up to all the pretty pretty photos. I’m not sure my ovaries can take much more of that sexy sexy man š
Oh, and I’m more than happy to step into offical umbrella holder, hair fluffer, (un)dresser etc if any are unable to cover theĀ post.
I wanted to reply to @surayya ‘s question (of a few days ago) of favourite episode/s. And it will probably come as no surprise as I say it’s Good Form. There are many episodes I like, but that one I enjoy a lot. I am a sucker for a historical British Navy period drama (and a man in a blue naval jacket). Put that together with Bernard Curry playing Killian’s brother I almost went into meltdown the first time I watched it. (Bernard’s brother trod on my foot in a pub once and I had a similar reaction š )
Another reason I like it is the Charming/Hook budding bromance. I’ve always liked how those two have interacted together, even when Charming is punching Hook in the face. Most of all, I think the main reason I love that episode is that it shows the whole gamut of Colin’s emotioinal acting. From doe-eye innocent sailor, betrayal, despair, love-sick suitor, both sullen and happy drunk, cheeky, devious, right all the way through to dark-souled pirate – the way he looks when Pan tell him to kill Charming and it looks like he’s almost comtemplating it – chills!
And as the boys go off on their buddy adventure, the woman are left to do the actual work. š I liked the way Regina, Snow and Emma worked together. There is just something about Emma holding back Snow while Regina rips out a heart (for the greater good) that is quite emotional. I didn’t know who was in the right/wrong and that’s another reason I like this show. Boundaries are blurred and that scene in particular makes you think what extremes you would go to if you needed to save a loved one.
