ParticipantLOL love the real husbands of Storybrook 🙂 Something good to makes us smile.
So so glad I don’t do Twitter anymore and don’t have to deal with all that horrible stuff going on. It’s a tv show people, get over it. Someone mentioned Castle earlier, my absolutely favourite was killed off from that show but I don’t go complaining to the writers to put him back on. It’s just childish.
I did want to ask though, is all the vitriol being directed only at the writers? Or are the actors getting a fair slice of it too?
Totally agree with everything that’s been said in this thread about this hate campaign, we all seem like decent human beings who can put aside differences and actually talk about things in a civilised manner and not have to resort to throwing our toys out of the pram when we don’t get our way.
I don’t really call myself a shipper. It really wouldn’t bother me if Emma and Killian never got together. I won’t lie it is nice, yes but it’s not going to ruin my life one way or the other. I actually got annoyed when Neal died and really would have liked more stuff between Bae and Hook. That relationship never got fleshed out properly apart from that small reconciliation before Neal died. Bae obviously meant a lot of Hook, but we never saw it reciprocated. So when Neal said “I haven’t forgotten” was he referring to when Hook gave him over to Pan? Or was he remembering Hook looking after him before he demanded to be let off the ship. I still have lots of questions about their time in Neverland, but I’ll never get them answered now Neal is gone. The dynamics between Emma/Hook/Neal would have been good had they gone down the path of Emma/Hook with Neal just being an awesome father to Henry. We saw little bits back in Storybrooke after Neverland that Neal and Hook (and Tink) were starting to work well together as a team. I would have enjoyed those Neverland three bonding again.

ParticipantYes yes yes to all of the above!!
But the difference here is, I would never single any of them out and project real life tragedies on to them b/c I’m not getting my way on a TV Show. — I’m from California. I have friends who lost people in that shooting that just happened. And to see you guys USE that as means to further your OUAT/Hook/CS hate agenda is just disgusting
And seriously? People did that? That is appalling. To quote: The more I see of the world, the more am I dissatisfied with it.

ParticipantI just wanted to add something to the Milah debate, in that although it is hard to imagine a woman falling out of love with her kids, I know it happens. My friend’s wife said that to him when she left. She regretted it after a while, but her initial reaction was that she wanted nothing to do with any of them. So in a way, it is possible to understand Milah associating Bae with Rumpel and needing a break from both of them. And it sounds like she did regret it since Hook told Bae they were going to come back for him when he was older.
Yeah, I’d love to see that too, but I also don’t think it’ll happen. We pretty much know those backstories now, so I don’t see that contributing any more to the narrative. Unless maybe Belle finds out what Rumpel’s been up to and gets really mad at him and he remembers Milah being really angry at him before she left or something. But of course they only have so much time each week, and I imagine we’ll be getting a lot of Elsa flashbacks in the near future too. Although heck, maybe Milah is Elsa’s second cousin once removed or her bastard half-sister or something, haha.
Hee! 🙂 I know it may sound a bit trite, but I actually would love a connection between Elsa and Killian and/or Milah. Whether it was a wronged friend or a relation of some kind (and blood feuds are always the juiciest feuds) who is out for revenge or something on Killian that the others can rally against as well. I think that would put him properly into the ‘goodie’ camp.

ParticipantSo I saw this on Once spoilers FB page & I thought it’d be a nice ‘game’ to play here as well
1) When did you start shipping CS-
2) When did you start believing that Emma loves Hook/Killian?
3) When did you just know they were endgame?I’ll bite too 🙂
1) I wouldn’t call myself a ‘shipper’ per se (considering that’s what my mum calls a dust pan, it always seemed like a weird term to me), I’m happy to go along for the ride, wherever the writers take me. Having said that, I think I would have been upset if Emma and Neal got back together.2) Hook was pretty good to Emma in Tallahassee and she definitely saw a connection there (hence leaving him behind, I agree she saw something and got scared of her feelings), but everything else he did in S2 sort of pushed those feelings down again. But the connection was rekindled when she appealed to his good nature, that she’d seen via beanstalk activities, to give them the bean to save the town. Even though he double crossed them, he came back and slowly throughout Neverland her feelings grew accumulating in the “good” when they parted. I see A LOT of Darcy and Elizabeth in these two, that Emma’s feelings have been coming on so gradually it’s hard to pinpoint.
3) Kiss in Neverland. Even though Hook was goading her, she could have easily said ‘go away’ but she didn’t, she wanted him right there and then and both were surprised by how good it felt. Then Neal had to show up and confuse her. But that spark was always there. As you see in the last ep when Emma is playing with past!Hook. When she’s kissing past!Hook she’s into the kiss for a start, but then realises that he is not her Hook (that’s how I see it)
BTW I’ve been enjoying all the vids @surayya, it’s been taking me away doing any actual work, luckily the office is pretty empty today 😉

Participant@HappyEndings – yeah, it looks like a very similar urn. I’m hoping it is related to Elsa’s urn somehow because I like the idea of Elsa going after Killian, knowing he’s the one who has the other urn and all the other heroes having to come to Killian’s aid. That thought amuses me. 🙂
@callmeLola – Bahahahahahaha!!! Fantastic gif 😀 😀 I do hope the Hook/Hood/Charming bromance gets lots of screentime next season.
Oh I love those RHoS, hee!!
*puts hand up* May I join you in the shallows? I have cookies.
Edit: On the Hook apology to Belle. I think if he tried to be more heartfelt that would have been seen as more insincere. You can tell he doesn’t really want to apologise, but then backs it up with ‘I’ll help, that can be my way of making it up to you’. Actions louder than words. After Neal left Hook at the hospital, Hook went back to the shop to help/protect Belle, which I think shows he actually was sorry for what he did to her, even though hurting her hurts Rumpel, which I’m sure he still has in the back of his mind.

ParticipantSomeone made a beautiful Killian and Emma fan video featuring my favorite Bryan Adams song, ‘Everything I Do (I Do it for You’).
Damnit!! I’d been so good, but this one actually made me tear up.

ParticipantI foresee some great adventures for Hook and Emma and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Bland domesticity is NOT in soul make-up.  And that is the point Adam and Eddy are making. The walls just came down…now new building bricks for them as a firm, established couple will be built. With lots of angst and trials  that will have us pulling our hair out
Agreed. I don’t see their relationship changing all that much to be honest. Less brooding Killian, more happy Emma, but the way they interact will be essentially the same (I hope) just with a few extra touches and smoochies here and there.

ParticipantGrr, quote button still isn’t working for me.
See, that would be very, very, poor writing if Adam and Eddie changed their minds and went that route.  There have been so many subtle hints here and there and the fact that they came out and said that Hook was always meant to fall in love with Emma and we even saw in the finale, that past-Hook was still ‘lovestruck’ by her, makes me think that this is it.  They will end up being true loves.
I agree. They can’t do it, it would be too painful for Emma and that would set her back even further in her character development. And they’ve been building this love interest for 2 seasons now. There might be bumpy seas ahead but to rip them apart permanently would be too much for our little pirate and his princess. Let them have some happiness. Although I do worry that the last person Killian said he’s go to the ends of the earth for died about 5 secs later. But they won’t kill off Emma. They wouldn’t, would they? That’d be really evil.
