@Sarah_TN – I’m totally with you. My friend and I were discussing just that in terms of another TV show the other day. The poor main girl just has heartache after heartache. It was like ‘Here have your happy ending after all the trouble you’ve had…. nah only kidding. Surprise! Your husband dies!” You’re right, it gets a bit too much for us all.

ellemo78Participant@Jenna_B Thanks π
I had an additional thought, that instead of doing flashbacks, they can flit between Emma and Hook in the past and to where the rest of the team are in SB and the consequences of the changed time. Might be a bit convoluted. But when has that ever stopped the writers? π
@Sarah_TN – I really hope they don’t kill him off. Especially so soon after Neal. That’s a lot of heartache for the poor Swan lass. I think she needs a break and chance to be properly happy. If one is to engage with the primordial forces of darkness, one must expect a little social awkwardness
ellemo78Participant@lumee23 I keep wondering why it is Emma and Killian in the past.
I have a theory on that. So I’m going to add mine to the growing pile.
So if they manage to time travel, I think Zelena somehow stuffs up and they only go back to the events of Snow Falls. Even though it’s not the time Zelena wanted to go back to, she still sees an opportunity to change things for her better. So in order to counteract her maleficence (I love that word!) I think Emma and Hook only go back, b/c they’re the only two that won’t meet their past-selves at that time – Emma wasn’t born and Hook would have been kicking around Neverland. That way they can integrate themselves into past!Snowing’s lives without the EF folk getting all weirded out about there being two Snows, two David (or James back from the dead). So what if Zelena stuffs around with Snow and Charming meeting (I don’t know, maybe just because she can) and Emma and Hook have to put everything right? They take the storybook so they know how the story is supposed to go. So if spoilers are to be believed and there is a scene where Hook is driving a carriage, that could be James/Abigail’s carriage and he’s taking them to where Snow and Charming meet. Perhaps Emma being in peasant’s garb is her way of getting into past!Snow’s life and helping her parents meet.

ellemo78ParticipantLMAO!!! Thank you, I just snorted my tea! :-))

ellemo78ParticipantDoes anyone else find it significant she still called him Killian?
Yep. I’m reading it as Emma looking past the pirate persona and finally seeing the man underneath.

ellemo78ParticipantThe thing is, she stil has her magic and with her superpower, should have known right away Killian was being honest with her.
He was pretty adamant he wasn’t lying. It’s been a while since he raised his voice above that sexy husky whisper he’s been doing lately. All he has to do it get Emma to look at him and ask her directly if he’s lying, that’s worked so far. She pretty much believes him when he does that.

ellemo78Participant@surayya Ohhh you’re right it does! WW drowns him?

ellemo78ParticipantLOL so true!
And the WW called Neal dumber than a box of hair, I think the Charmings have claimed that title.

ellemo78ParticipantI cant see Emma just βlettingβ them be murdered for her sake- if that makes sense
Yeah, it totally does. I don’t like the idea of WW forcing Emma’s hand though. If she hurts Killian to get Emma to kiss him (ignoring any possible TLK at this point) that’s doing exactly what WW wants. Emma will know she’s going to be played now Hook told her about the kissing curse and hopefully will want to be one step ahead. And if that’s lying about her feelings for the devilishly handsome pirate then so be it. There would be no point to killing Hook if WW isn’t going to get what she wants. But then of course WW is NUTS and might just kill him anyway.
So basically with all this discussion, I have no clue what’s going to happen and I keep going round and round in circles. Once I think of something I can counter it with something else, which in turn can be countered. Fun though!
Just one more thing on Emma, *squee* that she’s calling him Killian even when she doesn’t need to now. I know she was having a go at him at the time, but it kind of made sense to why she was so mad. It wasn’t the pirate who attempted to ‘kidnap’ her son, but her friend.
