then A Desperate Soul happened and I was like “oh wow. This is totally different. I dig him. A lot.” And then Skin Deep happened and…well. Here I am, I will defend that man against basically anything. *much to many people’s annoyance I’m sure 😀 *
Me too. After Desperate Soul, Rumpel became my favorite beside Emma. I like his interaction with little Bae very much… It is so beautiful and yet sad. I just rewatched it again today and thought how much I like little Bae. I think I am Swanfire just because I like that little Bae so much. Now he is Neal, so I like him for being a grown up Bae. .. But not because he is Neal. For me, Neal still needs to do lots of explanation and prove his love for Emma… To deserve Emma. In Mahattan , when he came back to defend Emma in case she got into trouble for breaking the deal with Rumpel.. That is one of my favorite moments for Swanfire.
Nealfire Pan sounds like delicious Thai dish to me. 😆 hopefully, it won’t be too spicy like other Thai dishes 😀
I like the idea of Regina and Hook. I think they both have capacities to be good.. They are just so similar in burying themselves in revenge for losing love ones. For me, they are a very good looking bunch. Like it was posted in this thread earlier that they will be “hot” couple. Well, I am Rumpel’s fan…. He would say they will be “spicy one” 😆

ParticipantGood point Phee about K&H comments about connecting the beginning and end of the season.
I am not familiar with Arthur legends. I start reading it after Erin and Phee posted the possibility of Tamara being Morgana. Arthur legends is very fascinating to read and, I am sue, to watch. Since there are so many versions of Morgana, it will be interesting to watch the OUaT version of Morgana and the fall of Lancelot from the round table.
I listened to OUaT Official podcast on Lady of the Lake episode. About 10:40 of the podcast, K&H mentioned that it is a story to be told about how Lancelot the most honored knight of the round table become a work for hire to King George.
Anyone listened to that podcast? What do you think?

ParticipantWow… Morgan le Fay is an excellent candidate.
She is a dark fairy with a gift of healing. She is very beautifully, smart/sneaky, seductive, maniputive (especially of gentlemen).
She caused the fall of Lancelot from the round table (in a manipulative way). She liked him a lot and tried to force him to love her 🙂
She needs to control people and loves power/magic. When she failed in stealing King Author’s Excalibur, she threw the shaft in river and went into hiding….She is a Healer and has an ability to shape change… Is that how she met August? Is she Dragon in disguise? What is the “great” price August pay to that healer?
She knows magic and is accustomed to manipulate men. Attempt to force Lancelot to love her. Does she know the empty heart spell? If so, did she already use it on Bae? It will be interesting if Bae is under the spell thinking that he loves her. But like the Charmings under the curse in Season one, Bae is still drawn to Emma based on his true (?) love.
Here are some info on Morgan le Fay posted on internet If Tamara is Morgan le Fay, it will be a great story. She is very powerful, smart and very beautiful. She seems to be even more powerful than Cora…. Maybe at almost the level of Rumpel the dark one. Also I like see Lancelot again even if it is a flashback.
Morgan Le Fay: popularly known as Arthurian sorceress, benevolent fairy, priestess, dark magician, enchantress, witch, sea goddess, shape-changer, healer, and the sole personage of Avalon the Isle of Apples, not to mention daughter of Ygerna (Igraine) and Gorlois, half-sister to King Arthur, mother of Mordred, lady-in-waiting to Guinevere, wife of Uriens, lover of Sir Accolon, fancier of Sir Lancelot, and ‘as fair a lady as any might be’.
She could change shape at will (and to be young or old, beautiful or ugly, or an animal or other object) and to fly with wings, hence – ‘Le Fay’, or Faerie.Â
She is more typically portrayed as a wicked enchantress who learned her crafts in a Christian nunnery, powers which were subsequently extended with the help of Merlin. She was referred to later as Arthur’s sister (and again as a healer), and in Le Chevalier au Lion her ointments cured Yvain’s madness.Â
In the The Vulgate Cycle (1215 to 1235) Morgan Le Fay is however married to Uriens. She is also Queen Guinevere’s lady in waiting and fell in love with the King’s nephew, Giomar, but Guinevere put an end to the romance. Morgan responded by betraying the Queen’s affair with Lancelot to King Arthur. She had herself become infatuated with Sir Lancelot though he consistently refused her attentions, despite being imprisoned by her several times.Â
In Arthur legends, she represents control, sorcery, and manipulation. She uses underhanded, often manipulative methodsto create her power. During King Arthur’s reign, and in various romances and folk tales, Morgan shows up as a shape-shifter. She is a fairy, a queen, a mermaid, a beautiful young woman, a crone, a hag, an enchantress or a witch.
In some accounts, Morgan has a bad reputation; she is evil, sexual, a temptress.ÂMorgan needs to be in control of people and situations. In some of the legends, Morgan is said to have been a mistress of Merlin. She uses and manipulates him by way of seduction in order to gain knowledge of his spells. Hence the name Morgaine may be read as an anagram, “Gain More.” Morgan Le Fay manipulates situations in order to cause pain for people, especially Arthur. For instance, in courtship of Guinevere and Lancelot, Morgan uses her powers to destroy the ties in the court of Arthur to ruin his reputation and pride.Â
The best way for Morgan to hurt Arthur and cause him the most pain is to manipulate this situation between Guinevere and Lancelot, both of whom have the highest part of Arthur’s love and pride. Morgan “distressed Camelot with hints about Lancelot’s motives, and the intrigue, now serious, between him and Guinevere” (Ashe 39). She slanders Lancelot and Guinevere’s name in Camelot, and the rest of England, without any remorse or regret: “At Lancelot’s knighting, Arthur forgets to gird on his sword; it is Guinevere who does this, thus creating a formal feudal bond between them which is soon reinforced by that of love. And Lancelot and Guinevere become lovers on the night Arthur sleeps with the enchantress Camille. Arthur then repudiates Guinevere in favour of the false Guinevere, a magical creation of Morgan Le Fay, thus further weakening his claim to her loyalty” (Barber73).
Morgan does quite a good job in the destroying King Arthur and his kingdom. All of this chaos is created by Morgan; her shape-shifting creation, Camille, sleeps with Arthur, causing his adultery. The name “Camille” may also be read as an anagram, “came ill” or “ill came,” a most appropriate explanation for Morgan’s doings.Â

ParticipantAgree with you RumpelsGirl 😀 I was so afraid that Rumpel will let me down. But he didn’t. I think beneath his cold demeanor to just about everything, he is full of love. Sometimes people build the wall around them, so they won’t get hurt. For Rumpel, I can see why he acts like that.
I guess Tamara is not as nice and sweet as I thought. She looks really dark in the sneak peak. Any idea who she is? Anyone?
Love the show.
Swanfire fan 😛

ParticipantWow… I cried seeing the video. Tammythebear- thank you so much for sharing. I think OUaT is the best thing ever happened on TV in my life time. Not only it is a great tv show to watch for entertainment, but I have learned so much from the show and it instills a lot of hope. The story is very deep, and I am so proud of K&H, Jane and all the writters for creating such a tv series with lots of hearts. I actually parallel many things from OUaT to life and use that to talk to my child and often when I provide counseling.
… It is not always easy or convenient being good, and there will be time that one would debt him/herself when doing good seems only to hurt you– Snow had showed us that. To be good, you have to do it because you want to be good, not because to get people to like you or to get what you want– Regina learned and gave up trying very fast. We all have choices to choose in life and there are consequences in them– Cora realized she made the wrong choice when she got her heart back and have the love from Regina in front of her & she said “it would be enough. You would be enough.” Emma’s story is very inspiring story of the modern world “ugly ducking.” Snow, i hope, will soon show us that when we think that we made a huge mistake in our decision/action, we just have to get up, dust ourself off and keep going– there is always set back in life; life is not easy. I really hope that Emma/Bae/Henry will get their happy endings of a happy family. .. Each abandoned child deserves to see their wishes fulfilled. If you ask any abandoned child what they wish and hope for, the answer will be a loving home and family– Emma and Bae showed us that in Tallahassee; they do not even care about wealth or power— a small apartment for them will be enough. Well I can go on and on about the heart and wisdom underlying this show. For me, OUaT is an EPIC in itself for the best TV show in our time.
Again, Bravo to K&H and all the writers/casts/crews, and to all OUaT fans…
I think the video that Tammythebear shares with us is one of many testimonies for the EPIC of this show. Keep up a great work and thanks 😛emma-bae-henry

Oh my goodness! When he said those words to Emma, I just about melted!
I agree with Lil’Red. Not the most attractive man on the show but he has a certain intensity about him. Same as Robert Carlyle. It’s the sexual intensity that makes the ladies melt. Humma!Humma!
Completely agree with you TheGoldenKey and our Lil’Red. 😛
I never think I would like Rumpel/Gold… But I now love his character and acting. He is my favorite.
Not big on Neil before, but now I’m officially Swanfire fan.

Speaking from a purely superficial standpoint, staches ain’t my style. All over stubble: yes. Stache: no. Stache + goatee: urgh. (My ex once grew a stache and goatee purely to annoy me, which made me like the look even less). So when MRJ was first cast and I googled him, uh, well. He’s got a KILLER smile though. One of those smiles that makes the eyes crinkle.
So as long as he keeps the facial hair under control and smiles now and then, we’re cool. 😉
Seriously though, I’m looking forward to seeing him in action. Never seen him in anything before, so this will be my first MRJ experience. It’s good to know he’s one of those actors who takes his craft seriously, especially considering he’ll be playing such a vital role on Once, someone who we’ve all been anticipating seeing, so we’ve got high expectations. From what I’ve heard about him, it seems they cast this role well.
Agree with you Phee …
