Hmmm- I wonder too, since he was going to be in S1 before the whole copy right thing couldnt be resolved in time. I guess it depends on whether Regina thought he was ‘on her team’ or not, I could say fisherman but not sure if Regina would have wanted him in a position of power or not, so maybe a law enforcer under Graham? Since I doubt their is a Naval base in SB lol :p
A law enforcer maybe but I can’t see him working under Graham. I liked Graham but Hook, I think screams more Alpha Male than Graham.
He can be a rum dealer LOL. Owns a liquor store. Or the town drunk lol

In addition to the bean symbolizing his acceptance of her promise to let him be a part of something, you forgot to mention something else important. The last time he had possession of a bean was when? 2.09, where he had the “dried up, dead, useless” bean that Anton kept, and which he directly compares to Emma. It was “once magical, full of hope, possibilities,” meaning both her and their potential relationship, but her betrayal caused the one to be broken (and for herself, it was Neal’s betrayal that destroyed her ability to trust herself and thus influenced her decision to double-cross Hook).
But then, after Emma and Snow have beaten him and Cora into the portal, what happens? Jones takes that same bean and restores its magic and potential in the waters of Lake Nostos. So many people have pointed out the symbolic connection to Captain Swan in this act; Killian Jones, by his tender care and constant efforts to encourage Emma (“perhaps it’s time to do a bit of gardening”) restores her ability to believe in herself, give back her ability to see herself as worth loving and believing in, and soon, he will heal her heart completely when she finally accepts his love for her and hers for him.

haha.. someone from Facebook thinks Hook = Toto. Makes sense in a way since Hook is the loyal one towards Emma and follows her around. :))
I would like the idea that Emma would have to lift the curse the WW would inflict upon Hook. It will not only be parallel to Snowing, but it will urge Emma to finally take a leap of faith and face her true feelings for Hook, by giving him TLK…

I thought I was the only one that’s a bit offed by Emma. anyway, I think one reason why she’s like that to Hook about what he did for the last year was, well she was actually curious and she’s hiding it by being cold. She wants to know what he has been doing while away from her but doesn’t want to be obvious on why she wants to know? I don’t know…
I might totally stay away from the chat for good. Someone there is just really insensitive of other people in the chat. I understand where they come from but they should just stick to their own threads if they want to talk about how they want to off Hook.
I am so sorry but I am a bit sick of the theory saying Hook made a deal. It’s so easy for them to make Hook the bad guy when the story is telling us otherwise.
We were talking about this in the What is Hook Hiding thread. I actually think he gave up the JR to get back to Emma.
So you think it is more that Emma is not emotionally ready to hear that Hook made that sort of sacrifice for her? I could buy into that. Holding his cards until it is the right time to play them. It would fit his character. I took a peek at the What is Hook Hiding thread. I am torn between the CaptainFire theory and the Jolly Roger theory. I think the JR theory is definitely plausible as stated above but I don’t know if that is the whole picture. It still doesn’t answer why the timing perfectly coincided with the curse. I can’t wait to find out
Well maybe Hook did something honorable and well, we know our pirate doesn’t like to brag ( like how he doesn’t want Charming to tell the others he saved his life). Maybe it’s a sacrifice he did for Emma and others that he doesn’t want to brag about. That’s what I have been thinking after I watched.
Then someone here ( sorry if I forgot who it was 🙁 ) mentioned about Hook sacrificing JR to find Emma. Hook probably doesn’t want Emma to know that he sacrificed the only home he has known for years just to find her. He’s not the type of person who goes likes to brag about the deeds that he has done. He did have an argument with Charming on Hook being there, risking his life to help them back in Neverland but he only did it because he was pushed.
ohhh THAT one :D… sorry I thought of Hook giving Emma a ring XD.. thanks @surayya 🙂
