Re: hate-watching…I have no problem with people doing that. I don’t get it, but it’s really no skin off my nose. What I can’t stand is when they try to force everyone else to hate it too or do things like attack actors and writers via Twitter or whatever. There’s just no excuse for that.
I can actually kind of relate because I’m on a bit of an anti-Regina kick at the moment, so I have a fair amount of negative things to say about her on my Tumblr etc., but I tag it so no one has to see it if they don’t want to. But yeah, Regina’s been a dark spot on what’s otherwise been a pretty great season so far, so I get wanting to vent about individual things that bug you. š I just don’t let it ruin the rest of the show for me!

Seriously though, I could buy that Rumple cursed his hand, but that his hand is just bad on its own? Alien hand syndrome indeed, I guess. But my other issue with that is that Hook’s real villainy didn’t start until he was, well “Hook”. Before Rumple murdered Milah, yes Killian was a pirate, but we have no indication that he was evil or anything. A bit of a jerk? Sure, at times. But the bad stuff (hitting and almost killing Belle, working with Cora, taking away Belle’s memories, etc.) happened in pursuit of vengeance.
And how super awkward was it that he told Rumple he had a date and wanted his hand back because he wanted to use both hands to hold her? I mean I’m sure that was directed more at the audience than Rumple himself, but why the HECK would Killian divulge personal details like that to Rumple, of all people? That was just uncomfortable, haha. Also, does he really need a reason to want his hand back? Why wouldn’t he? I can think of a whole lot of things that would be difficult to do one-handed.

All of the dress “controversy” is weird to me–I’m not much of a fashion person, so the fact that I even noticed that it’s different from what she’s worn on previous dates is surprising in and of itself, haha. (I’m a language person; if I overanalyze something in an episode it usually has to do with that.) I mean, we all know it’s way more about with whom Emma is going out rather than what she’s wearing. š
Oh yeah, the script tease was really cute–I can’t wait!
And then there’s so much else to look forward to as well, both CS-related and not…There’s really only one storyline that I’m shaping up not to like, although it could go in a different direction than the one I’m anticipating so I’m not even writing that one off yet. š
So I just came across this very spoilery article on TV Line about the event we’re anticipating in the next episode…but seriously, it’s REALLY spoiler-y, more so than I was expecting. (Although a lot of the things that were revealed had been guessed or deduced from previous spoilers already.) If you’re still interested:

I feel like Emma’s going to be rolling her eyes the entire time at her mom’s overenthusiasm and her dad’s overprotectiveness. And like all moments like that, it’ll still be a bit bittersweet because she should have had this when she really was a teenager. šYeah, Iām going to make a concentrated effort to try hold back from of the spoilers for next epā¦ I totally went to town fangirling when I saw those pics, then went āI supposed to be āno spoilersā beyond the promo this weekā lol- So not sure if Iāll make it, esp if a sneak peek comes out with CS goodness (what can I say- Iām weak
), but Iām making the effort this week since 402 was so mind blowing with all the wonderful surprise moments we got 
When ABC gives out spoilers, then I’m fine with them. My problem is when people see the episode in advance and EVERYTHING gets leaked. If they don’t screen any more of the episodes in advance then I’m not too concerned about spoilers, haha.
Okay, promo pics are too adorable! And re: Emma’s outfit…I’m not generally one to analyze fashion a whole lot, but the first thing I noticed was how different this dress was from the dresses we’ve seen her in for other dates. There was the pink one in the pilot (not that that was a real date) and the black leather one she was wearing when Walsh proposed, and not only is this one in a lighter, more delicate color, but it’s also not skintight like the others. I don’t really know what to make of that, just thought I’d point it out. š There’s also that very strong “Grease” vibe, haha. But yeah, they’re definitely going for the “young and innocent” vibe, with the more modest ivory-colored dress, the ponytail, the little pearl earrings…so cute! Between the outfit, Snow with the camera, and Charming with the dad-glare…they’re not-so-subtly trying to recapture one of those lost childhood moments.
And there’s the hand thing…I’m very curious to see how that goes down. For one thing, why is it in some kind of liquid when it wasn’t before? That’s fishy right there.And I don’t think I could deal with seeing Rumple take Hook’s hand again! (I mean, I know he’ll lose it again, but that’ll be so sad!) And let’s not forget that whole thing came from a deal thatĀ RumpleĀ broke anyway (Milah’s and Killian’s lives for the bean–he murdered Milah and took the bean–or so he thought–anyway, in the most brutal way possible).
As for why he’s hanging on to it to begin with, my theory is thatĀ maybe seeing the handĀ gave him an ego boost–it’s like a reminder of how he damaged the man who once made him (Rumple) feel emasculated, first when Killian challenged him to a duel and called him out on his cowardice and then when Rumple learned the truth about his wife havingĀ chosenĀ to leave him for Killian and being so much happier for it.
Gah, I have more to say but I have to leave for dinner. I think I got distracted looking at all of the pretty things @surayya posted…
Hook made a deal with Rumple in exchange for his silence so now Hook canāt break it.
Did they establish terms though? I thought maybe he bought his silence for that day or something. I don’t know; I just figured that’s how he’d get his hand back in the next episode. And then I like the theory that Rumple’s mad so he gives him back the hand but he curses it with alien hand syndrome or something. I must say though, I loved seeing their confrontation! And according to the pictures, we’ll be getting a lot more scenes with those two.
I just wonder how long he’ll have his hand back for, since we’ve seen more pictures later with the hook returned. But that just makes Rumple seem extra creepy, that he’s hanging on to body parts. Ew.
And yes, I too lovedĀ seeing Hook with the cell phone–how adorable is it that the only thing he bothers to do with it is “press the Emma button”?

But yeah, I just never use people for my avatars; I’m not sure why. But I quite like that picture–they’re not my horses (sadly); they were at the equine vet clinic where I worked for for several years. They specialized in reproduction, so we saw a LOT of foals, but she was definitely one of the cutest. š
