Like others have already stated, I think the whole deathwatch is just smoke and mirrors. I don’t think anyone is going to die. Or at least not anyone terribly important. Those spoilers could have been talking about Regina’s nightmare for all we know. However, I do expect Sydney to go down. HARD.
[adrotate group="5"]eternalflameParticipantWhat I’m curious to find if whether or not Emma actually makes it out of Storybrooke or not. I hope she doesn’t. Not because the town needs her, but because she could be easily be arrested and thrown in jail for taking Henry. She’s fighting for custody right now, and kidnapping is not going to look well alongside your already steep juvinile record.
eternalflameParticipantI think Rumpel chose Belle because he always demanded children as payment for his HUGE deals. However, I think he was surprised to find himself falling in love with her. Especially after he vowed to never love anyone ever again. Lucky for him, he did. 😀
eternalflameParticipantWell kids, we have an answer. And I have to say, I was delightfully surprised at how much I enjoyed tonight’s episode. At first, the whole Pinocchio theory sounded horrible to me. But tonight’s episode turned me around.

When I talked about “She becomes desperate to get Henry back” I was talking about Regina. Sorry
Ah! I get you now. Then I agree with EVERYTHING you said. 😉 I think the finale will involve Regina either using Belle to seek Mr. Gold’s help, or using Belle as tool for revenge for Mr. Gold breaking their deal. I just hope Belle escapes from the asylum before Regina can get her hands on her.

Really Cool Theory!!! So next week, Emma takes Henry and they’re going to leave Storybrooke. That’s kidnapping!! She becomes desperate to get Henry back. So, what if she talks to Mr. Gold? She can say that Emma has Henry and she wants him back. Mr. Gold would never agree to it unless there was something in it for him. So, what if she confesses that she has Belle? That Belle didn’t kill herself but Regina locked her up in a psycho ward. Belle and Bae are Mr. Gold’s weaknesses. He would do anything (and I mean ANYTHING) for them. So, he would get Henry back so she could give Belle back to him. A person she loves for a person he loves. What do you guys think? God help Regina if that’s what happens next week. 😡
But Emma isn’t aware that Belle even exists. She has no idea who she is. So, that would be quite a leap. I do, however, agree with you that Bele is Mr. Gold’s weakness and Regina will use that against him at any cost.
eternalflameParticipantI loved seeing the REAL August. Before this episode (and last week’s episode), all we saw was perfect, shiny August. But the past two episodes allowed us to finally see the real August. It was kind of heartbreaking. I’m also intrigued as to why August is all of a sudden working for Mr. Gold. I just read a recent interview with the actor who plays Dr. Hopper, and he said that a line will drawn and each character will choose a side. Is August choosing Mr. Gold’s side? Hmm…very curious thing.

It seems both August and Gold do have a common goal and that is for Emma to believe. August seems indebted to Gold because the fear of death makes people desperate and Gold does have a knack for identifying a desperate soul.
Good point. August’s goal is quite clear. He needs Emma’s magic to heal him. But Mr. Gold…not so much. I can only speculate that he wants the curse to broken so he can leave Storybrooke look for his son.
Yes, I think Mr. Gold wants to break the curse only so that he can finally be freed from Storybrooke and look for his son. However, I think there may be a secondary reason for him wanting the curse broken too. I’m just not exactly sure what though.

For one thing, I think Mr. Gold wants Emma to believe … for whatever reason. And he thinks/thought August could convince her.
For another … he set that up in his shop … having Gepetto there. 😮 A way to twist the knife, after what happened in the last episode.
I do wonder, though, how he figured out so clearly who August is. Or did I miss something?
He’s Mr. Gold. He always knows. 😆
eternalflameParticipantWait, so why are Mr. Gold and August so friendly again? I could have sworn they hated each other.
