I’d like to see more princesses on the show. Ariel and Sleeping Beauty would nice. 😀
[adrotate group="5"]eternalflameParticipantWow, you may be onto something there. I never even considered the possibility of Belle writing the book. Good job connecting the dots! 😀

What’s been bothering me since this last episode is Gold’s little speech about Regina planning a trip of her own because when the townspeople find out who she is they’re going to be out for her. Well, isn’t the same thing true for Gold? Shouldn’t he be worried. Sure, we love him and know he’s redeemable, but the last place he was in Storybrooke was in the dungeon jail. I’m worried they’ll try to lock him up again. I know he’s planning a trip, but what if he can’t leave town? Will that promise from Emma come into effect, or will his help in the MM affair steer the way into them not crucifying him. Plus, the townspeople are all scared of him anyway. What’s to say they won’t revolt against him.
On a side note, and totally off-topic, Eternal Flame, everytime I see your name I start singing the Bangles song. I can’t get it out of my head now.
LOL! 😆 Thanks for the compliment…. I think. 😆
Yeah, Mr. Gold didn’t seem the least bit nervous about him being found out by the rest of the town. Of course, we could easily explain away his cool exterior by saying he’s planning on escaping, but there’s probably more. Rumpel has always managed to get himself out of trouble. Even when he’s caught red-handed. Emma caught Mr. Gold right in the middle of beating Moe French, but he easily got the charges dropped immediately after. He’s a sneaky little one. He always knows his way out a difficult situation. Even back in Fairytale land when he was finally captured by Cinderella and placed in the cell, he didn’t panic or plead for an escape because he knew the curse was coming and he’ll be free no matter what. The man’s go skills.

For a split second in last night’s episode, I thought Mr. Gold already knew about Belle. When he told Regina, “you no longer have anything I want,” I automatically thought: BELL!!! But alas, it was probably just my shipper brain kicking into overdrive. 😆
I almost thought that, but then I dropped the idea. I think Mr. Gold is still in the dark in regards to Belle’s existence. But I would be delightfully surprised if he did in fact know about Belle. I would if the big trip he was planning was for him to take Belle and look for his son.

I got that if Emma died the curse would automatically be broken, not that she hadto be killed. I took it as the curse can still be broken if she lived, but if she did by chance get killed then it’s null and void, sort of like a contract. I don’t think I explained that well, but the gist is that she doesn’t have to die for the curse to break. It’s already starting to weaken and the queen is scared that she can break it. That’s why she didn’t want to kill her, just put her into a coma-like existance.
Ohh, Regina’s “So there” did put his hackles up. He looked like he wanted to @#$%^-slap her there when she rubbed his face in it. Just wait until next week when Belle makes an appearance. I sooooo hope there is interaction between her and Gold, and then Regina and Gold afterward. If Regina has a bit of magic left because of the objects she brought with her, then Gold has a whole storehouse full of magic.
I like the idea that Rumpel possibly placed a safety clause in the curse. It may just be a way to keep the savior safe. But I can’t but think maybe not. Mr. Gold wants the curse broken presumably so that he can leave Storybrooke and find Bae. So…ugh, I’m so confused. 😆
And, um, yeah…Regina’s gonna get it when Mr. Gold finds out about Belle. Like…REALLY GET IT. 😮 😮 😮 Right now, my main theory is that Regina offers up Belle in an effort to get Mr. Gold to reset the curse. He and Belle have a brief but touching reunion, and then BOOM. The effects of the newly reset curse take effect and she forgets everything and Regina takes her back to the asylum. And then next season, Mr. Gold will be spending his time trying to save two people. Baelfire and now Belle. 😥
Good theory. I could easily see the Mr.Gold and Belle having a reunion and then being quickly punished somehow by having their memories erased. And I also agree that Mr. Gold is going to have 2 goals to aspire to next season. Finding Baelfire and protecting Belle. I think season 2 will put Mr. Gold back on the road to redemption. He needs to fight for something. He needs to have something or someone to love and protect. It brings out the best in him.
eternalflameParticipantI’m so glad that Belle is finally returning. We haven’t seen her in months. The show introduced her as such an integral part of Rumpel’s story, and then POOF. She was gone! But of course, the writers only did that so that her eventual return would have an even greater impact on the story. I also like the theory of Belle helping Emma to believe. It would be very interesting to see.
eternalflameParticipantI just read this theory in another thread. What does everyone think of the idea of Baelfire becoming Oz? It actually makes sense. The green vortex, being the son of a wizard, and the tragic irony of it all would make for some wonderful drama. I really like the theory.
eternalflameParticipantOh, let me count the ways in which I love this ship. This story was surprisingly beautiful. I was shocked at how well done the Beauty and the Beast story was done. The Disney version of Beauty and the Beast had enough wonderful elements in it to pull in any viewer, but the OUAT writers did something different. They were bold and daring and took the story in completely new direction. Even though they radically changed the story, they returned it to the story’s dark core. That’s hat makes me love this couple. The darkness of their story.
eternalflameParticipantHmm…this poll has very similar results to the last one I made. Rumpel has a lot of love here. 😀

Still. Why would Emma take any food from Regina? And Henry seems to know that it is poisoned. I think that makes sense.
Who knows. Emma has made more than a few unwise decisions during her time in Storybrooke. I think Regina offers Emma the pastry, Henry, knowing that it’s poison, takes it from her and eats it to prove to her that Regina is truly evil.
