ParticipantHey, it has been confirmed, King Xavier is Prince Henry’s father! The theory is getting more plausible!
Question: Looking for a Once Upon A Time scoop. —Sara
Ausiello: Your search is over. The ABC hit is casting the 20-year-old version of Regina’s father as well as his fourtysomething father, presumably to take part in the same flashback that features Rose McGowan as Young Cora.source: http://tvline.com/2013/01/08/smash-spoilers-ask-ausiello-dexter-revolution/

ParticipantAgree with slurpeez on the Regina thing. Which makes me thing, where exactly on the timeline is Belle’s adventure?
I was convinced she was captured by Regina on her way home but obviously not.
Regina visited Rumple after that and lied to him with a story about Belle coming back home, realising Gaston was missing, her father turning away from her and putting her in a tower with the doctors to heal her, after which she throws herself of the tower.
The story actually sounded quite convincing and makes me think how much of it was actually true? As we know, Gaston did go missing so perhaps Bella went on to find him?
But it’s also likely that Maurice did turn away from her and locked her in a tower – we saw him in SB and he was pretty determined in deciding for his daughter’s life too.
Perhaps all of the Queen’s story was true – Belle did throw herself of the tower – but not to die but to escape. Then again, would she be happy to see her dad in SB after all he did to her in FTL? Not to mention that Maurice believed that even after the curse was broken, the Dark One still held her captive and seemed pretty surprised when she said it was her choice.
Or was it Regina’s fault all along? Maybe Belle wanted to go explore the world before returning home and Regina chased after her then?evilqueen
ParticipantToo many favorites with me! Yeah, ‘can’t touch this’ is on the list, but also:
– the scene where Regina is trying to pronounce Rumplestiltskin’s name and it looks like everyone else is trying to help her with that!
– ‘you spin my head’ 😀
– the part of ‘you had a bad day’ when it sings ‘you walk with a smile’ – shot at Leroy smiling leaving prison
– Mr Gold’s gardening advice! Cracks me up every time!evilqueen

ParticipantWouldn’t that make Belle think if he wasn’t Bluebeard too? 😛

ParticipantI agree. It reminds me a bit of Jefferson’s quote “Everyone wants a magical solution for their problem, and everyone refuses to believe in magic.” meaning everyone wants a simple, immediate solution to their very much complicated problems and only magic can deliver that. But by doing so, it destroys the balance – it introduces the impossible and so there will be consequences! All those mentioned by PriceofMagic are, however, short-run outcomes, I still believe that on top of that, there will be long-run consequences too and they deeply affect the one using magic – such as clouding the judgement like we saw with Emma.
In FTL only fairies seem to be unaffected by that fact, even though they really do the impossible.. I wonder if there are other rules to magic – e.g. maybe if you keep the balance right, there will be no consequences as such? For example Blue Fairy changed Jiminy into the cricket but she also changed a wooden doll into a real boy – both of those affect Gepetto and from a very general point of view, the world hasn’t been that much affected – there is maybe one more cricket in the world and one less wooden doll but in terms of people, the balance remained – the number of people hasn’t changed… If you know what I mean?evilqueen
ParticipantHaha, I absolutely love the one, PriceofMagic! (I posted it too in the ouat related songs too, btw) I swear there isn’t a day I’m not watching it!
