Reviews, theories, and talk about ABC's Once Upon a Time TV show
oh please, I’m not a fan of trying to influence writers with stuff like that! They have a set idea in their mind and it would be a pity if you force them to keep a certain actor just because you want it so. There is a high chance of ruining the story that way or changing it completely to what writers originally intended to do. I like the current style of the show and I guess you do too, otherwise you wouldn’t be watching it so please, don’t try to ruin it.
Soon there will be petitions to keep Hook, Belle, Cora, Archie, Smee and pretty much everyone else on the show. If that’s the writers plan for them, so be it, but otherwise, no thank you. If a character has this much potential, I’m sure its creators DO see it too.

As I said, I believe all of that has its purpose. Sometimes introducing character at the expense of pre-existing characters is a must and cannot be avoided for the sake of the story. Perhaps Aurora and Mulan have been forced into the show but not for the sake of the new characters being introduced but to slow down the action a little bit, to let the writers adjust the pace and create some suspension, sometimes it is necessary if you don’t want to blow up your story. I vote for giving the writers a credit, they have very successfully conducted and closed season one so let them continue. Of course we are all impatient and want to know everything but they have proved that they have a lot of things up their sleeves and a lot of extra stories to tell. The characters introduced now might stick for seasons to come so it could be important to show their stories now and somehow accommodate them in viewers’ hearts.
