hey, just a thought, why does he have a cane in the first place? why is he limping? maybe all that is just an act and in fact a cane is really some sort of wand or staff?

Regina has truly proven she’s honestly trying to redeem herself, she risked everything by taking the spell of the portal and that means a lot for a development of a character who’s been acting so selfishly throughout her entire life. There is zero encouragement or gratitude from Snow or Emma and even Henry seems like he doesn’t really care. Then there are those stabbing words from Rumple. That way Regina could be emotionally turned back to the time when she cast the curse in the first place – because people don’t really give her a chance. I’m not saying they should’ve invited her for a dinner (she would probably turn it down anyway) – but it just seemed that everyone simply ignored the fact that she saved their lives – everyone always notices the bad that she does but they don’t really care when she finally does something good – I mean, can’t they seriously notice a big change coming for her and that it’s rather important and that it would be better for everyone to keep her on their side?

Obviously both Regina and Snow are wearing battle clothes so I’m pretty sure this must be about the time of the great battle between the Charmings and the Evil Queen, right after when the last flashbacks have left us (Charming’s mother dying).
The fact that Regina is wearing plain clothes and a ponytail makes me think it must be either a moment before or after she takes her armour off, looks like Snow was trying to sneak in on her.
BTW Lana looks soooo hot in both of those scenes, have I mentioned that? 😈 🙄I think this is because they needed the compass for the PORTAL, as sort of a way of telling the portal where they want to go rather than navigating themselves. Whereas when you are using a bean, it seems like it takes you where you want it anyway (before it was a land without magic for Bae then Neverland for Hook). The beans seem to be pretty special and way more powerful than just ordinary portals so maybe they don’t need any extra artifacts.
Yes but he left the ink in his cell with Emma’s name, how DID he know Emma (or anyone for that matter) will find it and use it? (and how did he know he would like that person to use it?) For all we know, Emma’s arrival to FTL was an accident!
