Hehe, definitely cursed. I live in the UK so to be able to see Once, I’m staying up until ungodly hours to watch the episode first hand (ET 8pm is equivalent of 1am here!), then write comments, then sit on the live podcast chat to discuss and see what others think… I end up going to bed about 4am 🙄

You’ve got a point. Remember when Rumple was teaching Regina how to take a heart from a unicorn, he said that those hearts become so much stronger than normal – maybe Rumple sort of ‘began’ the process of extracting Hook’s heart and didn’t finished it but the hear grew stronger anyway?
well, if there was a story of Cinderella in the book, it would be hard to tell it without including Rumple’s part. Same as the Snow White stories. At the time when Henry was still wondering who Mr Gold might be, he didn’t actually know how evil Mr Gold is. I don’t think they had many interactions, in Henry’s eye he was someone important but he couldn’t figure out whether bad or not. As the things went on and eventually the curse was broken, he learned more about Gold, he joined all the dots, he’s a smart kid so he figured it out, eventually.

But I do agree, I would be surprised if Cora ignored Bella’s significance.We still need to learn what Cora’s plans are exactly. Is she after Regina? Or Rumple, who apparently defeated her? I reckon both but then again, the writers may give her completely different reasons after all.
I’m pretty sure the writers have an interesting story to tell about Hook but once it’s told, i don’t see why he should stick around.
You are seeing it in the wrong way. I don’t think the writers would ever think of viewers as rag dolls, in the end we are their source of income. But when they start a show with a clear idea in their mind, it’s hard to change it “because the viewers want it”, sometimes it wouldn’t make sense to the story they want to tell. I believe Once is not one of those shows that wonder in random directions according to fans’ wishes but that the writers actually have a clear idea of where they want the series to go and that they have a plan they need to stick to in order for the story to remain logical.
Also, if we, as viewers, always had whatever we wanted, it would be boring! I like the suspense, not knowing when and where a twist might hit.
Also, I don’t see Hook as a great characters myself and there are other viewers who just find him annoying. After all, he’s only been in a few episodes and we haven’t REALLY seen what he’s up to. Perhaps if/when his story comes up, I will change my opinion, but my point is – you might feel strongly about this character but there will be many others that will not, or in fact, that will dislike him. And same with all the other characters. It’s hard to keep the balance between what the viewers really want and what’s best for them. Don’t diss the writers just because they would kill off an irregular character just because he was YOUR favourite… I would be MEGA MEGA upset if Regina dies but whatever happens, happens, what’s dead is dead, as long as they keep on an interesting story to watch!@slurpeez108 wrote:
