my point was: why did Storybrooke ended up where it was, why not nearer where Bae was believed to be? why not in THE SAME PLACE?

If he’s not Neal, maybe Bae would be the one who helps Rumple bring Henry to SB in the first place? We don’t necessarily know that SB arrived to the world at the same time as Bae so he could be any age now! Bae could be working for Cora in delivering her plan and would help bring Henry to SB even if just to see his father again (but without revealing himself – firstly, if Cora told him all the horrible stories about Rumple wrong doings in FTL, he wouldn’t probably want to give Mr Gold a chance, secondly, he could be waiting until the curse was broken so he can talk to the real Rumple… )I actually think that Hook DOES know about the dagger. He said himself, he won’t stop until he finds a way to kill Rumplestiltskin and he was looking for the answer in Neverland.
Because he’s not in Neverland any more and, in fact, he can’t wait to get to SB and meet Rumple again, it makes me think he already knows how to kill Rumplestiltskin and of all the ways WE know, you could do this with the dagger and the dagger only.
So my theory is Hook knows about it and will stick around SB trying to find it and, while on his search, he will stumble upon Belle and will realise that a much better opportunity has just arrived. Not that he will kill her – I think he wouldn’t do it, out of the shear respect for his Milha but he might find a way to separate the two…@*The Looking Glass* wrote:

I have two ideas – either by touching the hat, she put a spell on it so that Spencer would be able to find it (and that’s why he broke in to the station, NOT for Ruby who was just an excuse) OR because it would be actually easier to find the hat if you told David to hide it in the best place possible – sounds contradictory but really, you can hide things anywhere without thinking about it but if someone tells you that you REALLY need to take a good care of it, there would only be a small number of places that you would consider it safe enough to hide it.
Somehow I think it could be a mixture of both these ideas.Ok, so I think that Gold didn’t really know what he was doing when he brought Henry to SB – or at least not EXACTLY what he was doing. I think that somehow Rumplestiltskin must have left himself, Mr Gold, some sort of anchor that would guide him to Henry but he, Mr Gold, didn’t know the details of it, he knew he had to do this but didn’t know why. I think that smirk when Regina asked him was just about that – he smiled at the fact that he actually outsmarted the curse again and he did it, even though he wasn’t himself.
