ok, so i went back and remember the story of Alice in Wonderland and Through the looking glass.
We actually have 4 queens this way – Queen Alice, Queen of Hearts ie. Cora, Red Queen and a White Queen (Snow?). There are also a White Knight (Emma) and a Red Knight. No mention of the White King (I think) but there is Red King who is asleep until Alice checkmates him. Somehow Rumple doesn’t fit any of those descriptions, like I said in the other thread, he fits the character of the Cheshire Cat – sort of guiding Alice but playing with her too. Can’t really find matches for the Red Queen and King, but maybe we haven’t met them in OUaT yet?@*The Looking Glass* wrote:

don’t know about it. He seems to me like he really has some issues to address, I mean, he gave in to the temptation and run away to Thailand with Neal’s money instead of giving it to Emma! The Tallahassee episode made him look like a badie and made me think that maybe he doesn’t have good intentions after all. Yes, he was trying to say he was her guardian angel but all his actions in that episode turned out to be contradicting it. I truly wonder what the writers are planning to do with him, so far my impression is that they are conning us with the fact that we remember fairy tale Pinocchio as the good guy but in fact, for all we know, he could’ve turned to the bad side!
firstly: the writers clearly stated that at some point that Gold indeed had no recollection of FTL until Emma arrived.
secondly: I think it’s more of the fact that noone else noticed THEY weren’t againg rather than notice Henry was. Easily done, really, when you spend so much time with someone, even just yourself, you don’t notice the changes that happen to you – a wrinkle here or there, a few more kilos around the waist – you don’t really notice that. So I guess, in the same way the people of SB didn’t realize that they WEREN’T changing.
