Fave bits for me had to be all the Little Snow and Regina scenes. So wonderfully played between the two.
Least fave aspect of the episode: how predictable the whole thing was. I think I pretty much saw everything with Daniel coming months ago. And like some others said, that’s the big issue Regina takes with Snow?

So now we know why Regina hates Snow. I’m just wondering if people were satisfied with the explanation. I don’t want to be a nay-sayer, but I guess I was just expecting something a little more dramatic that would lead someone to want to curse
I think I was semi-satisfied. I can understand if people were disappointed, though. All season we’ve been given this whole, “I hate Snow White. She destroyed my happiness.” That certainly sounds like something heavy. And then all it is is that Snow was just being a sweet little girl and told Cora everything? And then Regina has such a huge vendetta against that? If anything, Regina should be more p****** at her mother than poor little Snow. And for Regina’s destroyed happiness to be such a big deal, I feel like we didn’t get enough of Daniel to really form an attachment with him and later sympathize with Regina. Yeah, I liked what we saw of Daniel, but I don’t know…I think I needed more. Every aspect of the episode went down as I had been seeing it for months. I wasn’t shocked when Cora ripped out his heart.
Okay, I know that sounds like a lot of complaining, but overall I still loved the episode and I can understand anyone who feels like the episode didn’t do Regina’s ultimate backstory justice.
I think I’m more looking forward to the events that will play down after this episode: what does Regina plan to do to Cora as vengeance? Will this all lead to Regina getting magic? This episode certainly leads to some good material in the future.

His limp reminded me of a wooden leg
😆 Okay, that I like. I was reading through the comments and I believe slurpeez had a similar theory about August having a wooden leg and it would make sense for him to be Bae or even Pinocchio with the leg issue. I’m honestly all for either theory of him being one of those two characters. Then again, maybe the writers are trying to make us smack our heads once we get the reveal and it’s someone entirely unexpected. At first I thought August tripping was just him maybe being too near the Storybrooke border, but Ruby was in the same place and had no issues, so I don’t think the border is the problem. But a wooden leg: genius!
fairycutie86ParticipantI caved! I just had to make a Mad Hatter video after last night.

I think Regina had clearly worked with Jefferson before on some task.
That was my thought as well. I think in terms of her being so familiar and easy with him deals not just with her having hired him in the past, but also I think with her making sure she can get him to do the task so she could fool him at the end. Jefferson was totally oblivious to Regina’s back-stab at the return portal. Had she been her usual self, I’m guessing he might have caught on quicker.
fairycutie86ParticipantYou know, my first initial reaction was that Regina was going to end up being the Queen of Hearts, since, well, Regina does have a vault of hearts 😆 But I was thinking there’s no plausible way for Regina to be in two different realms unless she had a twin sister or something wacky like that or she knew how to travel between worlds and around what Jefferson told her. So I’m glad my first thought was proven wrong.
I’m all for the theory that Phee mentioned as well. Seems likely in my mind as to who the Queen of Hearts is. I think I’ll be rather disappointed if that theory proves incorrect.
fairycutie86ParticipantGah! Everything was amazing! The whole thing of interweaving Wonderland with the Fairytale World was genius.
My most favorite part was probably the ending fight between Emma/M-M/Jefferson. That was awesome.
Didn’t really have anything that I hated. Every moment felt needed and fit with the story.
fairycutie86ParticipantI’ve made two OUAT vids under my FairyKingdom86 account. Have a look if you wish and you can leave a comment over there if you have accounts.

They could have five years between the coffin scene and the curse if they want.
For some reason I always felt that after Charming kissed Snow in the coffin that they married immediately. I’ve never thought before about the possibility of time in between that. So yeah, there could be years in between for all we know. That would be cool, plus it would help keep the Snow/Charming stories fresh and new. That’s kind of why I had the opinion that the Snow/Charming stories were over because I didn’t think about time between the coffin and their marriage.
fairycutie86ParticipantThat’s an interesting theory sjm. I don’t know if I particularly buy it just yet, but I think it could be totally possible. Certainly would be interesting.
