Certainly, Mr. Gold has implied from time to time that he has a little magic. I agree, what an episode!

I’d seen the preview that ended with Regina attempting to kiss David…sooo glad he pulled away!

I think my other favorite moment was Mary Margaret’s scene with Regina. She may be cursed, but I love that she retains her innate goodness.

That’s all for now…I think I need to watch again and think about the whole thing some more. πŸ™‚

I have a feeling that the answer to August’s identity will surprise all of us, so I am just keeping an open mind. Eight pm can’t come fast enough, though! πŸ˜€

It depends on how old Snow is supposed to be, too. The character’s age is not the actress’ age, so Regina may have been Regent. A regent rules for a prince or princess who is heir to the throne but under whatever the “age of majority” is in the kingdom. Usually this is 18, but that doesn’t mean it is always 18. So, Regina could’ve started by being Snow’s regent.

I’d forgotten how hard some of this episode is to watch! Regina burning Abigail’s letter…ooooh!

And I laugh, β€œOf course, he’s sexy, he’s Prince Charming. But his real world counter part [David] is horrible!”

πŸ˜† So true! I hope he finally comes back to himself soon!

Charming, I agree that the “leap of faith” is important and will be important. It’s definitely a theme in the overall story, and there are several “leaps” to come! I’m thinking that Mary Margaret will have to make a major leap of faith to start trusting David in Storybrooke again. I think Emma is getting closer to making a leap of faith and believing…though I am known to be an optimist, so who knows!

I am really, really excited to see next week’s episode, that’s for sure.

I think I remember Snow saying in an early episode (Snow Falls?) that she was stealing to get enough money to go far, far away. I seem to remember that she was only stealing from the Queen, too. She was pretty remorseful about those eggs in “Red Handed,” but that was actually before her “bandit phase”…the timeline gets tricky in this show! πŸ™‚

Snow/Mary Margaret is one of my favorite characters. I’m enjoying seeing her develop, and I think that we’ll see more dimensions to the “Mary Margaret” half as the storyline progresses.

Ginnifer Goodwin’s comment in the article Slurpeez linked to that MM is cursed, so she messes things up for herself made a lot of sense to me. Actually, I think that’s something easy to lose sight of in Storybrooke sometimes — that these characters are cursed, and they’re going to have a lot of problems because of that fact.

I saw Mirror, Mirror this week on my first day off from school. It doesn’t tell a particularly new or compelling story, but the movie was a lot of fun, and the sets and costumes are truly beautiful! I really enjoyed it.
