This was the season premiere which answered at least some of the big questions from the finale. You can’t expect these guys from Lost to answer everything and not ask a new question, can you?
[adrotate group="5"]faithful readerParticipantHe could have simply gotten into proximity of the curse and gotten swept away by circumstance. Also, he could have been ‘magicked’ into a non-humanoid similar to Crickett. I wouldn’t be happy with that explanation, though. I’m pretty sure that if he were seen around the area,as a humanoid, people would have somewhat recognised him.
faithful readerParticipantHaven’t heard the initial reaction podcast, but is there any reason why there can only be one Wraith?
I have a feeling that the parallel vs. sequence will be one of those ongoing discussions. FTL was under a 28 year curse, too. I’ll need to listen to the inital podcast to get more information.
faithful readerParticipantIt looks like Archie/Jiminy is no longer a series regular. At least officially; he was absent for more of season one than Ruby/Red!

I guess I’m wondering if SB/America — our world, our time — is a land without magic if Emma is there? Emma = magic
This episode made it clear that magic is not person based, it is location based. Emma has no innert ability to use magic, though she is able to break the curse. Good thing too, becasue I don’t want to know what Goldperstiltskin would do with magic in this world.

faithful readerParticipantAs far as Baelfire is concerned, there were several references to a world without magic, implying that there are several, or at elast mroe than one. All in all, not a bad plan, but if there are a bunch of worlds wihtout magic, there’s not much luck in finding the one that he is at, let alone the bothersome chore of getting back, especially if there is no obvious return ticket.
This does mean that Happilyl Ever After is an alternate universe, meaning that the writers can get away with a lot more. 😀
In terms of the phone call recieient, the producers clearly want us to think that August called Henry. I know that it’s not uncommon for eleven year olds to have iPhones nowaday, but I think Regina ahs a tighter leash on him.
As far as August’s true identity (becasue he can’t just be a creepy writer…), the judging by the promo, press release and other assorter spoilers, we’re being pointed to/told explicietly that he is Pinocchio

Isn’t that about normal? They get about three or four months off and then start filming again.
It’s less than that. The show finishes it’s intital season mid May and resumes filming mid July. They’ve all but wrapped by this point, but there’s still post production to do, ADR and such. This is assuming there is no ‘secret scene’ that they’re keeping the wings. It’s nt as bad as a full day of filming, but it can wear on you. Figure two months, if that.
It’s even worse for teh writing staff and showrunners. I don’t think these two ever stop working, but they have a lot to do. Plus, it helps to have a script when you start filming.
faithful readerParticipantWhile the podcast is great, the timeline is almost invaluable. Thanks for keeping that up. It helps make sense of the Charming Snow romance.
faithful readerParticipantCould we have a spoiler-laden podcast ’round August? August the month, not hcharacter.

I just talked to a local hotel that has theater-style seating, we can bring our own food or have them provide snacks for a few dollars per person, and it’s an affordable rental. The only question is whether they can bring live TV into that room.
I’ll visit and photograph it ASAP and report back.
Sounds like this might be a winner. We can watch the fianle, do the podcast and crash around first thing Monday Morning.
At ten people, that comes to twenty each. I’m presuming that we can pay above the ‘list’ price to donate to the cause.
Can you also find out how much the rooms run for? Will my AAA membership qualify for a discount?
Just to be a jerk, my own personal cuisine probably won’t make it from home base. How is your cooking? Yes, I realize that two of the hosts are married, so the wrong answer might wind up with someone on the couch. I wouldn’t mind paying extra for catering, in or out of house.
