faithful readerParticipant
before we all go and say the August is Pinocchio, Peter Pan or [insert other relatively minor character], remember that he came from outside Storybrooke. People can’t leave, at least not until the Curse is broken. If they can’t leave they can’t come back, and he clearly came from otuside the town.
Anotehr blow to Pinochio Pan, He would need to be either ten years old or near his fifties. We saw Pinocchio in the pilot as a ten eyar old and Pan can’t be too far behind. Even if Gepetto, Tinkerbell or [insert other relatively minor magical character here} made a loophole, they would nromally age as Emma did.

Äääh, do you mean MM or Regina?
Meant MM. Regina had it in the bag but blew it entirely. Of course, that would effectively end teh series, so it’s not necessarily a bad thing.

If you meant MM then yes and no. People started to be kind to her again, at least before the whole murder case started.
It’s not as much the exhonoration, but believing she could commit murder. They know she’s innocent, but the one-two punch of being a homewrecker and a murderer, although both are wrong, probably won’t help the popularity of a second grade teacher. There have been several teachers that were accused of crimes far less than murder, but they were still fired after they were proven innocent, even after their acuser blatently admits to lying.

And yes, Regina got reeeeally close to her objective, but she’s made the mistake – like oh so many villains – of actually admiting it to the victim.
Give her a break. She’s been idling her time in Storybrooke for twenty-eight years. She’s known what’s going on the entire time. It’s bound to make someone a little rusty.
faithful readerParticipantWhile not downplaying the significance of the heart not being Kathryn’s – because that is huge – but does anyone care about this shovel?
We know it’s not the same one because Emma had the missing piece.
Not a huge deal, but something to consider.
faithful readerParticipantWhile it would be a good idea to keep the community afloat, it’s also making several people take five hours (or more) out of their week. I think we can hold off for a few weeks.
Not just that bit without new material, there’s not much for a show topic. They could look at some of teh larger issues that by their nature defy the regular podcast so that they’re all in one place, but it’s still a lot of work for little benefit.
While there are good and bad points, the final decision should be made by someone who’s been here longer than twenty-four hours. 🙂
faithful readerParticipantSounds like I can actually make it. Can you provide htoel information for those of us who don’t want to bunk on a stanger’s couch?
faithful readerParticipantI’m sure that the actors enjoyed having that portion of the episode off.
ETA I can’t imagine Regina was terribly thrilled with Snow having a Hapilly Ever After with a stable boy. Of a sort.
faithful readerParticipantRemember that Regina did take care of the shovel. I imagine hacking a DNA machine isn’t something out of her league. SHe’s had almost three full decades to learn, anyway. 😉
Who told us that it was Kathryn’s heart? Just Emma, right?
faithful readerParticipantWhat I’m wondering is that, if Jefferson is back in the other world (Either the Enchanted Forest or Wonderland), isn’t he pretty much the only one there?
faithful readerParticipantThe real draw here was the guest stars. One of the strengths of this show is getting great guest stars, especially when we might not see any of the actors from the flashback again. They carried their weight well and delivered.
In particular, Bailee Madison did a great job as the younger version of Snow White. Child actors are very hit or miss and she hit all the marks and stood her ground with some very accomplished actors. It’s unlikely that we’ll see her again on this show, but I look forward to seeing her on other projects.
faithful readerParticipantIt’s entirely possible that Snow White became Mary Margaret without knowing the origin of Regina’s hatred. Regina defiantely went from Sister, Sister to Mean Girl after the events we saw and being secrative isn’t out of teh question. She could also have wanted to destroy Snow’s chances at Hapilly Ever After just as Snow initiated the death of hers.
There’s also more of a potential for drama by not telling her the truth. When Mary Margaret does regain her Snow White memories (and let’s face it, that’s the direction we’re heading in, possibly and probably by the end of the season), she can confront Regina.
