Personally I love the idea of Bae being Henry’s dad, but you do have a point hjbau. We don’t really know him or how he has changed since coming here. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

It could play out that if Emma hadn’t acted definseive about Bae talking to Henry, she would have been able to keep it form him a bit longer. (Now you know it’s been too long since the last epp–My mind has already run away to the point that i’m talking like my theories have already come to pass).
I don’t know about Coney Island, but i do have an idea about how Bae gets to storybrook if he didn’t know any of it. Rumple used true love to boost the power of the well (the one that is suposed to return what has been lost) to bring back magic. But magic wasn’t the only thing he lost. Parhaps as a side effect of the well, Bae is brought to storybrook. As Regina said, magic is unpridictable in this world, so it’s possibel Rumple had no idea it could happen.
And the best part about him getting to bound with Henry while Emma is MIA, would have to be her reaction when she comes back and sees what had been going on while she was gone. Sigh. I kind of have a feeling the writers arn’t going to give Emma an emotional break this season…but then again, i don’t think we’d want it any other way. 😀
Not so much bonding, but i would like to have them meet and be on good terms with each other (kind of like Henry and August when they were working togher on Cobra). I think for that to happen, given the few tid-bits we KNOW about Henry’s dady, it would have to be when Emma’s not around…at least at first.
That does seem possible though, given that MR-J is billed to be in the first eppisode and it looks like Emma and Snow are going to be MIA for a while in the first few epps
I want to see interact with a few storybrook people before the rest of the Charmings know the big secret, because if Charming starts acting like he doesn’t like him (which is almost inevitable when he finds out the back story–whatever it is) the other characters will pick up on that attitude. Charming was their king and well respected. Even if they don’t react the same way as Charming, they will at least wonder why he’s acting that way, which could make things interesting (but i’m not sure if it would be a good way or not).
I do think that it makes sense for Bae to come to town while Emma is gone, but for them to bond. Maybe we are defining bond in a different way, but somehow that would make me crazy. I mean maybe be friendly towards one another is fine. Also i think if Bae is the father, i don’t want him to know about Henry and i don’t want him to know that Henry’s mother, Emma is the girl he hooked up with ten years ago well eleven now and know that this is his son.
I could so see Henry sitting at the bar at granny’s with a slice of pumpkin pie and hot coco when Bae comes in and sits down next to him and order pie. They make a bit of small talk, then Emma and MM come in and she sees them. Emma gets confrentaional and asks what he’s doing in town. He says it’s family busniss. She assumes he’s somehow talking about Henry but he is talking about Rumple. He leaves. MM asks how they know eachother. Emma, knowing Henry’s in the room, says is that he’s no hero and MM understands. Herny knows he’s missing something and gets courious, which of course can lead to some trobble latter on.
I know it wouldn’t happen that way, but my mind has been in overdrive over the last few days. lol. 😀
The family picknick is now my background and within the next few moments i’ll have figured out how to make a theam out of them so they all rotate!
I must say I love Emma sourrounded by all those princess dresses and yet she chooses the armor. That is so her…
Henry at the BBQ reminded me of pictures floating around tumblar of the kid who plays Bae practicing with a bow and arrow (I don’t think it has anything to do with OUAT though)
If they want to make it the Blue Fairy that could be interesting with her being the original evil
That would be interesting to see, and wouldn’t seem too far fetched to me. There is just something a bit off about her. She is entirely too picky about who she does and does not help for her to be gaining nothing.
Maybe I’m just burned out on too many stories where Rumple gets both Belle and to be reunited with a still young Baelfire who instantaneously forgives his father and is okay with Belle being his step-mom immediately after being dropped by the vortex opening in Storybrooke, that I really want the whole Bae, Rumple, and Belle storyline to be really angst-filled.
That’s takeing too much of the easy way out and would, in my eyes, ruin the credibality of the show in a big way if they tryed something like that.
I like your point about Bae chilling around Stroybrook for a while and just watching first… and I kind of can’t wait to see what happens between Charming and Bae when Emma explains what happened between them (whatever it was). Priceless.
Likewise, Charming acted much worse during his time under the Curse, so if he gets to get angry and actually punch Dr. Whale, I want to see Frederick rip Charming from limb to limb
That’s too good of a point. I’m kind of hopeing that the punch is about something else (although the whale/mm thing can be an underliying thing).

I compleatly agree, but I do hope sometime within the next few sesons it gets to a point where Regina isn’t the big bad, and when that happens I would like to see them become something like friendenimes. After all that’s happened and will happen, one truth remains–Henry has two moms (even if it’s not in the way some seem to want) and they will have to come to turmes with that eventually.
MR-J’s mysterious man character who I believe to be Bae/Henry’s dad. I didn’t really see his character as the active pursuer type at least not this season because I thought it would be too early for that since I figured that he and Emma would have a lot to resolve first,
That’s a good point. I’m a big fan of the Emma/Bae (as Henry’s dad) possibilites, but I wouldn’t want it to happen too early. Honestly, I think that when he comes to storybrook it will be about Rumple and not about Emma (or Henry), he might not even know Emma would be there–that depends, of course, on how much he knew about storybrook before hand.
Of course, there’s Hook, who I’m sure will try to woo Emma also. I could see her being charmed, at least at first, but I don’t see it going anywhere.
I’d kind of rather not see this. There is so much romantic potental else where and I really don’t want to see this become one of those shows where every male charcter, that isn’t related to her or gay, is attracted to the leading lady. It kind of becomes unbelieveable at that point.
I could definitely see a triangle situation already between Bae, Emma, and Quinn since Bae would probably be against magic and Quinn would be for magic. At least from his description though, Quinn might turn out to have a very dark side, so I guess that would leave the writers an easy way out to get to Bae/Emma happening.
That has promise. Even if Bae and Emma are not togher at that point and still resolving stuff, i could totally see Bae being the only one that knows about Quinn’s darkside for whatever reasion and not wanting him around Henry… Now i’m getting excited to see him in papa wolf mode.
When August’s comes back, I think he might have more to deal with than trying to woo Emma,
and i’ve always pictured it as more of a brother/sister kind of thing
Emma and Jefferson do have a lot of chemistry, but if they were to happen, it would be too much like Rumbelle and Gosh, imo. Plus, I think they’ll bring his wife back at some point, so I’d rather wait for that to happen then for Jefferson to openly pursue Emma after all that’s happened.
I kind of think his wife is Alice and she is the blound patent locked mentioned in archie’s notes (but i have nothing to back that up). Either way, i would like to see him and Grace’s mother get back togher because he didn’t actually say she died.
BUT i would like to see more Jefferson/Emma interaction. It’s just too good not to. And Jefferson is the most nutral character on the show yet. He’s too much of a wild card to to play him sometimes.
