I’d almost think he would have to somehow. Otherwise it would have been just way too much of a coincidence that of all the children he got for her, it would be Emma’s. Even if it was just subconsciously. Besides, i doubt he would design the curse to leave him completely both memory-less and powerless. He would have had to put a loophole in there somewhere that gave him something.
[adrotate group="5"]faux paxParticipantHonestly, I’m less interested in who (if anybody) is Peter. What I am dying to see is, when it is revealed that Bae is Henry’s father, what will that do to Rumple and his relationship with both Bae and Henry. Think about it. He’s the one who got Henry for Regina. I can totally see him knowing Henry was Emma’s kid and using that as a way to eventually drawl Emma in to storybrook. BUT i doubt he would have given him over if he knew Henry was his grandson. I don’t see him doing that; it’s just not in his character… especially since he knew what kind of person Regina was (she did kill Henry sr.). I’ll accept the fact that he can see the future, but there has to be at least some things that are out of his reach. And i kind of hope this is one of them.
That revelation would be epic. And Robert could so pull it off. Plus, if Bae found out and didn’t believe Rumple didn’t know… well, now with all the Rumple/Bae build up, they can’t have their issues resolved too quickly, now can they? Mwhahaha
faux paxParticipantI think that for whatever reason, Rumple had to accept the fact that he was going to lose some time with Bae in regards to that twenty eight years when the curse was in effect (maybe it had something to do with the way the magic worked, or maybe the curse was the only way he could get to this world. he did put in the safety valve regarding Emma to break it after all). If the curse and Bae came through at the same time, then Bae would keep ageing like August and Emma because he wasn’t IN storybrook, even if he was originally of that world. I think that after centuries of Rumple desperate for a do-over, he would jump at the chance to have his son back at all, even if that meant he was almost thirty years older then the last time they saw each other.
faux paxParticipantBut wouldn’t the not ageing thing have to be caused by magic? and if there wasn’t magic then how can faeries do their thing? I mean there’s no magic and yet the sisters aren’t waving any wands…
faux paxParticipant[quoteand then at some point Bae/ PP crossed over from Neverland to our world (as we know PP could do) maybe he couldn’t get back to Neverland…so he remained in our world and started to age normally and met Emma][/quote]
Interesting point Gypsy, but didn’t the blue fairy say that the world he was going to had no magic. Neverland does have magic. I still don’t see how that would work.
faux paxParticipantThere’s also another, simpler, explanation about how they all wound up here together even with the time difference.
Think about it. The entire curs was designed to bring Rumple here so he could find his son. Isn’t it probable that he designed the curse to bring them into the world at the same time as Bae was here. So when FTL was cursed to come here, it could be the same day (in the real world) that Bae showed up. Add in the twenty eight years where everyone inside of storybrook was completely unaware of time, and you get grown up Bae during the series.
faux paxParticipantI didn’t mean any offense. It’s just that If he was supposed to be Peter and he aged, wouldn’t that kind of defeat the propus? We all ready know his back story so if they didn’t have the not ageing thing, i’m not sure how he could be Peter, if that makes any sense.
faux paxParticipantBae being both Peter Pan and Henry’s father is an interesting twist, but i’m not sure i like it. I mean wouldn’t that turn Emma into a bit of a pedo? She may only have been seventeen or eighteen but he was stuck in the body of a fourteen-year old boy. Any way you spin that, it’s not exactly the thing you want to insinuate in a family friendly show.
I always kind of thought of Henry as being Peter. I know he wasn’t born in FTL, and I know the personality don’t match, but i think it would be kind of fitting if they could swing it some way (hence with the flying). I mean the curse was designed to take away EVERYONE’s happy ending. It’s already taken any chance Regena has at a true happy ending when it required her to kill her father, so maybe that kind of thing rolls over.
In storybrook, Henry was the only kid to ever grow up. If he was Peter, don’t you think that would kind of suck for him? I mean isn’t that one of the things that caused his issues, and made him believe the book was real in the first place?
faux paxParticipantI just got the lamp and unlocked a letter Henry wrote to Emma before Mary-Margret gave him the book.
OH GOD THE FEELS!!!!!!!!!!!
faux paxParticipantYou’d think after being abandoned by his own father that he’d be desperate to be invovled in his son’s life
couple that with his possible role as a big bad and things could get interesting.
