The Neal / Emma reunion is going to be even more entertaining because it looks like she's takeing Henry with her.

Anyhow, this could also fit with why these outsiders couldn’t come forward and help Emma in her quest, so they don’t come across as too detached or too unhelpful.
The best ideas of that that i have heard is that they either worked together to write the book or that they are somehow trying to prepare for the ‘final battle’ whatever that is rather then breaking the curse (cause that’s emma’s job).
Or perhaps, now knowing that he is Gold’s son, she feels she need to protect Henry from Gold and his family and does not tell him.
I’m not sure she could keep it from Neal. I mean it’s not like she can tell the whole town not to mention the fact that she has a kid and there’s no way she could try and convince him that Henry’s not his. The timeline would be too exact for Neal not to notice it and she couldn’t exactally say that Henry was the product of a rebound relationship–you don’t get many of those in jail.
But I think if she told him that she wanted Gold as far from Henry as possible, I think Neal would go along with it. He would know, but not say anything about it for a while so Gold doesn’t get any ideas.
What a depressing picture. Neal back in Storybrooke and hanging out with Henry, but not telling him…. 😥

True, but few can deny that he’s as unaffected as Rumple intended. It defiantly did screw with his life in some big ways even if he wasn’t stuck in time.
What about Neal? It’s just another thing to add to the ever-growing list of issues he has with his father. I mean really, isn’t he one of the people most effected by the curse even if it was in a round about way? It did turn him into irony’s bunk-buddy; he hates magic and his OTL is the incarceration of it? Yeah…

I think the conflict will come, not only because of what Neal did in the past, but from the idea Emma has that Rumple has manipulated her enter life. When she realizes that Neal is his son…I don’t think there’s any way she could see that as a coincidence and that will defiantly give her doubts (heck, Neal too) that their love was genuine rather then something Rumple somehow manufactured.
I hope she was referring to Ryan. Tallahassee did a good job of making us understand why Emma thought of Neal as a jerk without actually making him a jerk. If they made him married or pretend to be, that might mess with that balance a bit more then i would like. Besides, didn’t Emma mention a string of bad relationships? Maybe she was talking about one of them?
Yes, I think that him being Neal and Baelfire is enough, but I’m trying to keep an open mind in case he does turn out to be Peter Pan plus other characters too.
Me to, me to. I’m just really hoping he’s not Peter. The personalities are just too different. and i’m really attached to the idea the Hook is peter too.
Later I realize that it’s not okay for him to just get back Belle and Bae without any real struggle, but sometimes my head gets a bit foggy, and I just want to make everything okay for him.
That’s the biggest reason I didn’t want Bae to be a kid still. it would make things too easy for Rumple. I really hope they don’t brush over the Nealfire/Belle relationship. I think they would be friends even if Neal can’t stand to be around Gold.

Aww thank you. So many people want to ship based on their own wants and fantasies but if you actually listen to the characters, they say something different sometimes.
I’m kind of hoping he’s not the white rabbit as well, but i have no good reason for that except I kind think that Nealfire has enough in his life without giving him another FTL identity to go along with it.
I’m kind of thinking the same about the pics..or maybe this happens AFTER the big blow up and they are going to sit down and talk. Or maybe Emma’s just putting on a show because they are in public or she doesn’t know the person she’s meeting is Neal…

One of the many reasons i like SwanFire is because I think it will be the only chance Rumple has at growth. He’s not emphatic at all and the only way he cares about the damage he’s done is when it hurts someone close to him. With the shear amount of damage the curse has done to Bae (giving up Emma, Henry) will be the only thing to make him think twice.
I’m kind of glad that they’re smiling in the pic. it gives me hope for them and considering how much time I just spent typing up a spew on Tumbalr about why I can’t ship CaptainSwan or Wooden Swan more then them… yeah, they need a happy ending even if it’s a bit off in the distance.
